The march started from City Square and was led by a police vehicle. The procession passed by Bourke Street, the busiest business street in Melbourne, Chinatown, and several major downtown streets, and returned to the starting point. The whole journey lasted fifty minutes. A three-hour rally was then held, which caught the attention of many residents. In order to learn more about the situation, some people followed the march to the rally and had a talk with the speakers.
March Spreads the Facts
Melbourne is renowned for its diversity of cultures. The participants supporting the withdrawals from the CCP came from different walks of life, including Falun Gong practitioners, senior citizens, and young mothers. People of different races and ages walked together to support 17.3 million Chinese people quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Along the way, they spread the facts using banners, flyers, and loudspeakers to arouse peoples kindness and conscience. The most shocking part in the procession was the reenactment of the CCPs torture means and organ removal from living Falun Gong practitioners. Those who heard the facts for the first time were shocked. Many signed the petition while shaking their head. Some people applauded the marching participants for their righteous action.
Mr. Jiang Feng, who played the role of a Chinese policeman in the organ harvesting reenactment, said, "Though it was a reenactment, it was hard to look at. How can people kill others for organs?" Another person playing a police called on Chinese police not to be accomplices of the CCP, but rather to be kind towards Falun Gong practitioners.
Ms. Hui Ling, who immigrated from Indonesia, told the reporter, "Currently, Falun Gong practitioners in China are still suffering tortures spiritually and physically. The CCPs atrocities of live organ removal are going on. I cannot just sit at home; I do what I can do to stop the persecution."
Many western people watched the waist drum team after accepting the flyers and asked why the CCP persecutes such kind people. "Because they believe in Truth-Compassion-Tolerance." Children who grow up in western countries know that freedom of belief is a basic right. They dislike communism.
Former Olympic Medal Winner: "Please tell each one around you about what is happening in China"
Former Olympic swimming medal winner Jan Becker said in her speech that Australian Olympic team members did not know anything about the CCPs persecution of innocent people in China, because the real insights into China are not covered in the Australian mainstream media. She called on each one to tell everyone around them the facts of the CCPs persecution.

Ms. Sun Lianzhi, who recently came to Australia from China, said, "I witnessed the CCPs every movement after it got in power. Each movement persecuted countless people who told facts. Eighty millions people died without any human dignity. Now everyone, from poor people to corrupt officials, curses the CCP."
Duncan McGrath, a student from Australia National University, accepted truth-clarification literature and signed the petition letter. He told the reporter that his major was International Relations and he supported efforts to improve human rights conditions. He also supports the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in their quest to enter China to conduct an independent investigation.
Mr. Wang Peng, spokesperson for the Service Center to Quit the CCP, said that more and more people are issuing statements on the Epoch Times website to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. More and more people are awakening.
