Mrs. He Wen, over sixty years old, is on a hunger strike at Tuanhe Labor Camp to protest her illegal detention. She has been tortured there for two years.
2. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Mr. Ouyang Haiwen Tortured to Near Death
Mr. Ouyang Haiwen, from Wuhan City, Hubei Province, lived on second floor of the Beifugongban 3509 dormitory, Shuangdun, Hankou. He was arrested a little over a month ago. Mr. Ouyang went on a hunger strike to protest against the torture. His life is in great danger.

3. [Zhuzhou, Hunan Province] Ms. Yu Yingzhu Beaten Unconscious in the Baima Women's Labor Camp
Ms. Yu Yingzhu, age 31, was an employee of the Zhuzhou Smeltery in Hunan Province. In October 2004, she was arrested by the Shifeng District 610 Office and taken to the Zhuzhou City Detention Center. A month later, she signed a release document. She thought she was going home. Except for the pajamas, she left all of her other belongings to her cellmates. However, the 610 Office sentenced her to three years in the Zhuzhou Baima Women's Labor Camp. At the labor camp, Ms. Yu was beaten unconscious.
4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gu Lianfang Arrested for the Third Time
On December 20, 2004, Ms. Gu Lianfang from Fuzhou City Mechanical Factory, Wafangdian City, Dalian, Liaoning Province was arrested for sending the text message "Falun Dafa is good" to her colleagues via her cell phone. Ms. Gu Lianfang is detained in the Wafangdian Labor Camp.

On February 5, 2005, Mrs. Xu Ruihua, a worker in the Chengde Steel Factory, Hebei Province, was arrested for distributing Falun Gong materials. She has been detained by the Chengde Steel Factory Police. Her daughter is at home alone.
6. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Cuixiang Arrested
On February 6, 2005, Ms. Li Cuixiang, from Sanhe City, Hebei Province was arrested from home for clarifying the facts. She has been detained in the Huailou District Detention Center. The Huailou 610 Office is collaborating with the Yanjiao District Public Security Sub-bureau in the persecution of Ms. Li.
7. [Ningbo, Zhejiang Province] Three Practitioners Tortured in the Ningbo City Detention Center
On the evening of July 12, 2004, Ningbo City Zhenhai Public Security Sub-bureau police broke into Mr. Xu Weicheng's home and arrested three practitioners, including Xu Weicheng, Chen Xing and Zhou Tao. The police confiscated their Falun Gong materials and computer. On the same evening, the police also searched Chen Xing's and Zhou Tao's home. Currently, the three practitioners are being held in the Ningbo Detention Center. Their family members are not allowed to visit. The police are forcefully brainwashing them.

8. [Zhuhai, Guangdong Province] Mr. Lin Wuyong, Mr. Zhang Wenxue and Mrs. Cai Yunxian Face Illegal Prison Terms
Mr. Lin Wuyong (over 40 years old), Mr. Zhang Wenxue (over 40 years old), and Mrs. Cai Yunxian (over 60 years old) were arrested on September 19, 2004 and have been detained in the Meixi Detention Center in Zhuhai City.
The trial was postponed from February 24, 2005 to February 28, 2005 in the Number 6 Courthouse (Room 316), People's Court, Xiangzhou District. The file number for their case is (2005) No.277 Xiang Xing Chu Zi

9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Liang Shuzhi Illegally Sentenced to Three Years
Mrs. Liang Shuzhi, 68, is from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. In October 2002, she was sentenced to three years of imprisonment in Liaoning Women's Jail for posting truth-clarification posters.
10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mrs. Zhao Baohua Arrested and Sentenced to Labor Camp
Mrs. Zhao Baohua, 53, was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying material in Xitun Town, Dalian City, Liaoning Province. The Xitun police sent her to Dalian Labor Camp. Mrs. Zhao was then transferred to the Masanjia Labor Camp. Mrs. Zhao's 74-year-old mother-in-law is now forced to take care of herself. Mrs. Zhao's husband suffers from a cranial nerve illness.
11. [Jilin Province] Mr. Liu Jingsong and Others Arrested
On February 22, 2005, Mr. Liu Jingsong from the Changchun Motor Vehicle Company and another practitioner were arrested. They were then sent to the No. 2 Labor Camp.
On February 11, 2005, practitioner Liu from the Changchun 228 Factory was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying materials. Liu's home was searched, and he was sent to the Changchun Brainwashing Class.
12. [Shanghai] Mrs Ren Lingdi and Others Sentenced
Practitioners Mrs. Ren Lingdi and Mrs. Rong Huijun were sentenced to one year and three months, respectively, for passing out truth-clarifying materials. Xu Jinbao and Mrs. Lu Peizhen were sentenced to one year each.
13. [Chongqing] Mr. Du Hanwen Sentenced to Forced Labor Again
Mr. Du Hanwen, 41, is a college graduate in Chongqing. He had been a battalion commander in the Chongqing army base. He started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. Since the persecution began, Mr. Du has been repeatedly tortured. He was jailed for over a year. In December 2004, officers of the National Security Team arrested Mr. Du again. Recently, Mr. Du has been sentenced to one year in the Chongqing Xishanping Labor Camp.
14. [Chongqing] Yang Daojin Sentenced to Forced Labor Camp
Yang Daojin from Yunlimen Town, Hechuan City, Chongqing is a retired teacher of Hechuan Middle School. In October 2004, officers from the Hechuan Public Security Bureau arrested Yang for writing a truth-clarifying letter. Yang was then sentenced to imprisonment in the Chongqing Xishanping Labor Camp.
15. [Henan Province] Mrs. Wang Chenghong and Others Tortured in the Nanyang No. 1 Detention Center
Mrs. Wang Chenghong from Nanyang City, Henan Province is over 30 years old. In September 2004, she was arrested from home by Guo Wanlu and other officers of the National Security Team of the Wuolong Public Security Bureau. She has been detained in the Nanyang No. 1 Detention Center.
Other practitioners who are also detained in the Nanyang City No. 1 Detention Center include Mrs. Du Shuhui, Mrs. Xu Fenglian and Mrs. Fan Jinping.
16. [Shanghai] Mrs. Dong Jian Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Mrs. Dong Jian, age 60, is a university graduate. She is a retired deputy chief of the Shanghai Archive Bureau. She lived in the dormitory building of the Air Force Political Institute in Wujiaochang, Huangxing Road, Yangpu District, Shanghai. In early June of 2004, the Yangpu District Court illegally sentenced Mrs. Dong to three years in prison. She then hired a lawyer and appealed to the Shanghai No.2 People's Intermediate Court. On August 12, the Intermediate Court denied her appeal.
