(1) Feng Songmao is the vice secretary of Xingyang City Political and Legal Committee. In March 2001, he illegally arrested Falun Dafa practitioners and forced them to attend a brainwashing class. While the class was in session, his father died. Then in May he was hospitalized for heart disease. At around 9:00 p.m. one day in March 2001, a cable factory located on Wanshan Road caught fire and the economic losses amounted to millions of Yuan. According to inside information, the factory is the private enterprise of Feng.
(2) Ma Baozhang was the party secretary of Mazhai Village, Gaocun Township in Xingyang City. After Jiang's regime started to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, he had been following Jiang closely in harassing and persecuting local Dafa practitioners. At present, he is charged with corruption. In order to avoid punishment, he has been on the run from the police.
(3) A student in Youfang Village, Gaocun Township was deceived by TV programs that slander Falun Gong. He tore down Falun Gong truth-clarifying posters. Later his hair started to fall out. He was very scared and came to understand that he had received retribution for doing bad things to Falun Dafa. Now he no longer dares to tear down Falun Dafa posters.
(4) A man in Muzhai Village, Gaocun Township often destroyed Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials and cursed Falun Gong and its practitioners. He suffered a sudden stroke and became paralyzed.
(5) An officer from Muzhai Village, Gaocun Township often helped the local "610 Office" staff to harass Falun Gong practitioners. In 2003 his arm was broken in an accident. Later Falun Gong practitioners clarified the facts to him. Now he no longer assists in the persecution of Falun Gong.
[Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."
