Falun Dafa practitioner Zhao Wenyu was forced to leave home in the summer of 2001 to avoid persecution. Still, on August 15, 2003 he was arrested by Shijiazhuang Police Department, then detained in a brainwashing class in Xinhua area. While he was detained, the police ransacked his house. With powerful righteous thoughts, he was released after twenty days. Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Liqun has been harassed by Shijiazhuang Police Department since spring of 2002 and was recently forced to leave home. Shijiazhuang "610 Office" has issued a search for both practitioners, going as far as searching the homes of distant relatives for Liu Liqun. The two practitioners disappeared on February 3, 2004. There has been no word from them in over twenty days.

Haizhu area practitioner Chen Lixia was arrested after Haizhu "610 Office" searched her house. Falun Dafa practitioners Li Mingchang and Liu Boqi were placed in a brainwashing class. Ms. Chen Lixia was sentenced to two years of labor camp and currently is being persecuted there.

[Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ma Yulu Injected with Nerve-Damaging Drugs in Handan Labor Camp

In November 2002, Falun Dafa practitioner Ma Yulu was transferred to Handan Labor Camp from Baoding Labor Camp. Police escalated the persecution against him. They gave him three injections of nerve damaging drugs, in attempt to force him to renounce his belief in Falun Gong.

[Beijing] Appeal to Rescue Lin Yanqin's Family

My name is Xu Qiang; My parents are Xu Zhaotong and Li Fengying; My sister is called Xu Lei and the wife of Lin Yanqing; My niece is named Lin Huixuan and she is the daughter of Lin Yanqing.

On February 19, 2004, a gang of 30 policemen arrested my parents and sister in Harbin city,. Policemen involved include police from the Harbin Police Department Section 1, the local police branch, and policemen from Beijing. My niece is temporarily staying with a relative. All three family members will be escorted back to Beijing.

My parents and sister began practicing Falun Gong in 1998. They went to Beijing Tiananmen Square to appeal on January 1, 2001 and were arrested. After many days they were released, and my mother had an injury on her face. My sister was forced to quit her job because she practices Falun Gong and helped fellow practitioners go to Beijing. My parents, my sister and my niece were forced to leave home and take shelter elsewhere, leading the life of fugitives. Police went to their hometowns: Yuncheng, Shandong Province, Harbin and Quanzhou City, Fujian Province to search for them. The last time I saw them was during the Spring Festival of 2002. I met with them outside of Beijing and spent several treasured days with them.

At the end of 2001, the police began to harass me frequently. I was detained at the beginning of March 2002 at the Babaoshan Police Branch, where they tried to make me reveal my family's hiding place. They threatened that if they did not go back to Beijing and give up Falun Gong, they would be treated as criminals if arrested. They said my family members were the only ones not caught in the Shijingshan area of Beijing, and that this was hindering their promotion. Under this pressure, I was forced to leave my newly married wife in China and came to Canada alone.

My brother-in-law, Lin Yanqing was sentenced to three years of jail. Although neither he nor his parents signed the written judgment, their appeal was refused. Lin Yanqing has been detained in a drug rehabilitation treatment center for almost one year. Because most of his fingers were broken by policemen, his life in prison was very hard.

[Linquan County, Anhui Province] Practitioners Li Lin and Sun Li Were Arrested In Ruian City, Zhejiang Province

On the evening of February 7, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioners Li Lin and Sun Li from Linquan County distributed truth-clarifying materials in Ruian City, Zhejiang province, where they worked. They were arrested by Zhao Hongming and Cai Hui. Two days later another practitioner, his wife Guo Meirong , their relatives and their child were all arrested and sent to Ruian Police Department.

They were detained for over 40 hours, and suffered abuse, beatings, threats, intimidation sleep deprivation and hunger at the hands of the police in order to extort evidence. One practitioner fainted. Practitioners Li Ling, Sun Li and Guo Meirong are currently detained in Ruian Detention Center in Zhejiang Province.

[Anhui Province] Police in Suzhou Jail Persecutes Practitioner Dai Zhifeng

Falun Dafa practitioner Dai Zhifeng was arrested and sent to Suzhou Jail in Anhui Province. Since he was detained in 2002 for refusing to cooperate with police or compromise with the evil, he has received "strict supervision" four times over the course of half a year. During this period he has been on hunger strike and has been cruelly force fed. His limbs have been shackled to the wall. In order to destroy his will policemen instigated criminals to beat him and policemen also personally attacked him with electric batons, but all of these atrocities did not make him give up his belief in "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance."

[Henan Province] Practitioners from Zhongyuan Oil Field Is Detained

Falun Dafa practitioner Pei Yuheng works in Zhongyuan Oil Field in Henan Province. In June 2003 policemen broke into his house while he was away. They found his computer downloading a truth-clarifying film and burning truth-clarifying CDs, so they confiscated hundreds of CDs. In June 2003 police detained Pei Yuheng in Anyang city first and then transferred him to Xuchang City.

Mr. Li Jiangxiu, 38 years old, is a practitioner from Zhongyuan Oil Field. On May 15, 2003, he was reported for distributing truth-clarifying CDs. Han Qing, of the 610 Office and policeman Zhu Yanqun arrested him and detained him in Fan county detention center. He was sent to Xuchang No. 3 Labor Camp on June 15 for one year of forced labor. Li Jiangxiu's wife has to make a living with cleaning jobs, earning only 200 Yuan each month, to support their eight-year-old son.

Ge Pengna, is a 26-year-old university graduate, and an employee of Zhongyuan Oil Field. In the summer of 2002, she visited another practitioner and was arrested by employees of the 610 Office and policemen. Staff of 610 Office said that Ge was detained in Dongming Detention Center. Investigation has shown there is no such person in Dongming Detention Center. Ge's whereabouts are currently unknown.

[Wenjiang County, Sichuan Province] Persecution I Experienced

My name is Feng Shuhua. I live in Tianfu Town in Wenjiang County. One day after July 20, 1999, several policemen from the Tianfu Town Police Branch pulled me into the office from the street, forbidding me to sleep and eat in order to force me to give up Falun Dafa. They did not release me until two days later. In December 2001 the same people from the town government drove to my home and arrested me again, detaining me for three days and depriving me of sleep. In August 2003, they came to ask me again: Are you still practicing Falun Gong? I said, because Falun Dafa is good and my teacher asked me to be a good person according to "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance", my mind is purified and I want to practice it. The cadre of the town government Lei Yuru brought me to Liulin Brainwashing Class, forcing me to watch TV programs that defame Dafa, and demanding that I write transformation materials. Because I refused, they detained me for another twenty days. I finally gave in and signed a copy of someone else's pledge, after which they released me. I hereby solemnly declare that all of those materials are invalid. I will re-double my efforts to make up for my mistake and the loss I caused to Dafa.

Assistant director of Fushan District Detention Center in Yantai City Yu Guang tortured the illegally detained Falun Dafa practitioner Li Shifang. He cuffed her hands, suspended her with ropes, cursed her and beat her. Li Shifang was illegally sentenced to 4 years and sent to the Jinan Women's Prison.

[Liaoning Province] Two Innocent Female Farmers Tortured in Xinmin Town, Fuxin County, Fuxin City

On August 23, 2002, Falun Dafa practitioners Ma Fengqin and Li Fengqin from Beisan Village, Xinmin Town, Fuxin County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province went to Sunjiawan Cinema Residential Area in Fuxin City to distribute truth-clarifying flyers. The head and policemen of Sunjiawan Police Station arrested them. They were detained in Fuxin City's Xindi Detention Center for one month and six days, and were illegally sentenced to two years in forced labor camp. They were sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, where Ma Fengqin became extremely weak. Threatened by "collaborators" [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture and are now enlisted to help persecute their fellow practitioners], Ma Fengqin could not manage herself well and wrote a "reform statement" against her will. Her health was in grave danger at that time. The team leader of Masanjia Forced Labor Camp was afraid to take responsibility for her condition, and told her family 19 days later to come bail her out for medication. Li Fengqin is still being held in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

[Weifang City, Shandong Province] Corrupt Officials from Weicheng District Construction Committee and Housing Management Bureau Repossess Practitioners' Home

Officials from Weicheng District Construction Committee and Housing Management Bureau System, the Real Estate Developing Corporation in Weifang City, Shandong Province forcibly took Falun Dafa practitioners Lu Keying and Zhang Donglin's house while they were illegally held in forced labor camp for one week. The officials forced their family members to remove everything in the house to Zhang Donglin's hometown, and rented their two-bedroom home to new tenants.

[Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Suizhong County Practitioner Liang Jianlin Arrested

On February 20, Falun Dafa practitioner Liang Jianlin, an employee of Suizhong County's Post Office in Huludao City was arrested from his workplace by the policemen from the Political Security Section of the Police Department. The policemen illegally searched him, and found some Falun Dafa literature in his bag. Liang Jianlin is currently being held in Suizhong Detention Center.

[Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Illegally Sentenced

In 2002, Falun Dafa practitioner Song Yuegang (23 years old) was sent to Benxi City's Forced Labor Camp because he went to appeal for Dafa. Police used various torture methods in attempt to transform him. After continuous brutal torture for 15 days, he still refused to give up his belief. One and half years later, he walked out of the forced labor camp with righteous thoughts, and devoted himself to the current of Fa-rectification.
