(Clearwisdom.net) There is an older Falun Gong practitioner who started cultivating in 1995. He was frequently harassed by the local policemen because he went to Beijing, on several occasions, to appeal for the right to practice Falun Gong. In October 2000, he was sentenced to 3 years in a forced labor camp for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong again. He was placed in the Jilin Province Forced Labor Camp, where he continued to practice Falun Gong. He was later transferred to Liaoyuan Detention Center in Jilin Province. After being released, he told the facts about the persecution to the general public. He handed out truth-clarifying CDs or talked to people he knew. He hung up truth-clarifying banners constantly and talked about the facts of the persecution to the people that surrounded him and watched while he hung the banners.
The local policemen frequently harassed him in his home. Because the police also annoyed the man's wife, she had a negative attitude towards Falun Dafa. While facing the constant persecution, he realized that clarifying the truth is the most divine thing he could do and the greatest act of compassion. He shouldn't endure the persecution passively, but should actively clarify the truth and eliminate the evil forces.
Then he went to the home of one of the local policemen who used to harass him all the time. The policeman was surprised to see him and asked: "Why do you come to my home?" Then the practitioner started telling the officer the facts about the persecution. He returned to the policeman's home several times to talk about the true nature of Falun gong and the extent of the lies used to persecute Falun Gong. At last the policeman told him: "You've convinced me! I know you are a good person..."
From that day on, no other authorities came to harass the practitioner in his home any longer. His wife witnessed the power of righteousness and started understanding him and started understanding the truth of Falun Gong.
