"The Third Battle Against Determined Practitioners" Ends Up with Nothing Definite
On October 8, 2002, I was transferred to Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp, Changchun City. In the "new life" class, over 20 new articles written by Teacher were found, which caused a stir in the entire labor camp. My eyes were beaten until they swelled up and my ears were beaten until I was deafened. In addition, my term was extended by an additional month. In less than 20 days, I was allocated to the No. 2 class of the second division. There are seven divisions in the entire labor camp. The first and the second divisions were cruelest to Falun Gong practitioners. In the past, few of the practitioners in these two divisions were able to remain steadfast in the face of the persecution they received there. I made a decision that "If they want to take my life away, I have one. If they want me to betray Dafa and insult Teacher, it is impossible. "
Soon, all firm and unyielding Falun Gong practitioners were gathered together in the conference room of the fourth division. On the first day, the labor camp head named Wang gave a report. He said he would make sure practitioners were "transformed" within the stipulated time whether they liked it or not. The last two battles against determined practitioners were carried out at the end of 2001 and in the first half of 2002. In our No.2 class, a junior college student named An experienced brutal torture in these two battles. They beat him unconscious and then took him to the clinic. After he was resuscitated, they asked him, "Transform or not?" He shook his head. As soon as he finished saying the word "No," he was beaten unconscious again.
The first division indicated before the second battle against determined practitioners that they wanted to wage war to achieve a 100% "transformation rate". However, the result turned out to be contrary to what they expected. They met an unyielding person. Electric batons, leather whips, racks, and other torture instruments were all used. He was unyielding. Steel needles were stuck under the nails of each of his ten fingers. Because of the pain, he fainted several times, but he did not give in. This put the first division, which was known for "transforming" Falun Gong practitioners, at the end of its wits.
During this third battle, in the evening, when the practitioners came back from the conference room, they were made to sit on the cement floor and were closely monitored. The practitioners were not allowed to close their eyes all night. Anyone who dozed off and closed his/her eyes would be berated and made to stay awake, or even met with beatings and kicks. During the daytime, the practitioners were forced to attend the so-called study class as usual. In the study class, if someone were found dozing off, he/she would be taken out and sent to be dealt with by his/her division. Under everyone's consistent resistance, the brutal torture that did not allow sleep was cancelled on the third night.
The so-called "study class" lasted six days in total. Nobody among the more than 70 Dafa practitioners was "transformed". The practitioners understood in their hearts that nothing could shake their faith in Dafa and the evil could do nothing but escalate their accusations against practitioners. This is the inevitable trend of the Fa-rectification's development.
On January 24, 2003, I received written notice of my release from forced labor. The guard in the second division said, "Has anybody else who was not transformed ever been released? Nobody! You, Mr. Li, are the first one." I know very clearly how this fortunate event came about: it all depended on the guidance of Dafa and our kind Teacher giving hints!
