1. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zheng Yunchao Died in 2003 from Harassment at Age 73
Mr. Zheng Yunchao, 73, lived at Fenwan Commune in Zhongba Village, Wumiao Township, Jiajia Town, Jianyang City, Sichuan Province. Mr. Zheng started practicing Falun Gong in 1997. He had been under constant harassment since July 20, 1999. From July 26, 2002 to December 3, 2002 he was unlawfully held at Jianyang Detention Center and tortured. As a result, his hands and feet became swollen and he periodically suffered from incontinence and was unable to control his bowels. After he returned home, he remained under pressure as his family had been poisoned by the lies of Jiang's regime and was also under pressure. The police never stopped coming to harass him. Mr. Zheng died from the relentless persecution in the middle of September 2003.
2. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Wei, of Suizhong County Professional School, Abducted for Clarifying the Facts to Fellow Teachers
On the morning of November 16, 2004, Mr. Liu Wei, a teacher at Suizhong County Professional School, told teachers of the same school the facts about Falun Dafa. School officials who were unaware of the facts of the persecution alerted the police. Truth-clarifying materials were taken from him as "evidence." Later, Chen Guohua, deputy director of Suizhong County 610 Office Li Changhua, head of the internal security unit, and officers from the internal security unit arrested Mr. Liu and ransacked his home. He is being unlawfully held at Suizhong County Detention Center.

3. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Ruan Xiaoling Unlawfully Sentenced to Eight Years of Prison
Ms. Ruan Xiaoling, about 30 years old, had been held at a brainwashing facility within Xilihu Detention Center in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province since mid-2001. This detention center has since been shut down. Ms. Ruan had been force-fed numerous times in the brainwashing facility for holding firm to her belief in Falun Dafa and going on hunger strike for extended periods of time. She was also forced to receive infusions. After several transfers, she was sent to Meilin No. 1 Detention Center in the Futian District of Shenzhen City. She has been unlawfully sentenced to eight years in prison and it is suspected that she has been secretly taken to Guangzhou City Women's Prison.
4. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Chengbiao's Appeal Unlawfully Rejected
Mr. Wang Chengbiao's appeal has been rejected, and his original sentencing remains unchanged. On October 18, he was transferred from Xingtai No. 1 Detention Center to the No. 4 Hebei Provincial Prison in Shijiazhuang City.
5. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Yin Jianhui Sent to Shijiazhuang Brainwashing Center
Mr. Yin Jianhui was unlawfully sentenced to two years of forced labor in 2002. After his term ended, authorities refused to release him and transferred him directly to Shijiazhuang Brainwashing Center. He has remained under persecution at the brainwashing center.

Mr. Wang Mi's life is in imminent danger as a result of inhumane torture received at Hongweixing Prison in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. Mr. Wang is from Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. His wife Lin is an elementary school teacher in Shuangcheng City.

7. [Wendeng City, Shandong Province] Officers from Wendeng City Police Department and 610 Office Persecute Law-abiding Citizens
On the morning of October 10, 2004, two police vehicles from the crowd control unit of the Wendeng City Police Department arrived at Shihuiyao Village in Songcun Town, Wendeng City. The officers arrested Ms. Du Kesong and her husband Mr. Zhou Chengqing and ransacked their home, leaving their disabled family member unattended.
8. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Jinfang and Ms. Li Guizhi from Zhangbei County Arrested
Ms. Yang Jinfang and Ms. Li Guizhi are from Zhangbei County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. On October 11, 2004, they went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and were arrested by officers from the Xuanwu Branch Police Department in Beijing. On October 19, they were taken back to Zhangbei County by county officials Li Shanghong, of the political security unit, Sun Jianjun, of the county 610 Office, and Li Haiqing and Wang Bin, of Zhangbei Town Police Station. The two practitioners were directly sent to a brainwashing center in Zhangjiakou City. The following day, Ms. Yang's mother died. Her husband was traumatized by the persecution and hospitalized after being diagnosed with leukemia. He was all alone in the hospital.

9. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners of Lingzi Coal Mine Persecuted
On the evening of October 19, 2004, eight Falun Dafa practitioners, including Ms. Sun Xiuyun, were having a discussion at home. Qiu Yihe, head of the Baoshanjing Security Group, at Lingzi Coal Mine in Zibo City alerted the authorities. He then led four or five police officers and placed the practitioners under arrest that night without following any legal procedure. They also ransacked the practitioners' homes. Two practitioners were released the same night because of poor health conditions. Two other practitioners managed to escape the detention center and return to their homes with righteous thoughts. The four practitioners that remain in custody are: Ms. Sun Xiuyun, 53, at the Zhangdian Detention Center in Zibo City, Mr. Wang Xingben, 56, held at Zichuan Detention Center in Zibo City, Mr. Zhai Shenyi, 57, and Mr. Tan Yunjiang, 47.

10. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Middle School Teacher Mr. Jia Xuequn Sentenced to Forced Labor
Mr. Jia Xuequn, 43, is a teacher at Daqing City No. 34 Middle School. Authorities received reports that he played a DVD showing the truth about the "Tiananmen Staged Immolation" and arrested him. Mr. Jia has been sentenced to one year of forced labor and taken to Unit No. 2 at Daqing Forced Labor Camp.
11. [Weibei, Shandong Province] Ms. Cui Xiuhua and Ms. Cui Xiuyun Arrested
On October 21, Ms. Cui Xiuhua and Ms. Cui Xiuyun from Weibei went to Chiji in Changyi to distribute truth-clarifying materials. They were arrested by Changyi police. Cui Xiuhua managed to escape and returned to her home. Thirteen days later, Changyi police came to Weibei, and with the help from Fan Yongsheng, head of the Weibei Police Station, they found Cui Xiuhua and ransacked her home in broad daylight. Ms. Cui was unlawfully arrested and taken into custody in Changyi. Her seven-year-old child has been left at home alone.
12. [Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Fengzhen from Fangzheng County Arrested
Ms. Liu Fengzhen had been in exile for almost a year. Last year, when leaflets with the truth about Falun Gong were seen on the streets, officials of the local 610 Office and police station claimed that Ms. Liu posted them. Officers went to her home to arrest her, but she managed to escape with the power of her righteous thoughts.
On the evening of November 8, 2004, two police vehicles with half a dozen officers from the county's State Security Section showed up at her temporary residence and took her back to Fangzheng County.

13. [Shanghai] Mr. Zhu Wenxian and Ms. Sun Wenjuan from the Pudong Area Arrested
Mr. Zhu Wenxian and Ms. Sun Wenjuan live in the Pudong area in Shanghai. Around 5:00 p.m. on November 10, 2004, they were arrested by the police while raising public awareness of Falun Dafa in the Shiji Lianhua Supermarket in Pudong.
14. [Zhuji, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Fu Xiaoliang Sent to a Brainwashing Center in Xinchang
Ms. Fu Xiaolian lives in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province. On the morning of November 15, a dozen or so people from the local 610 Office, police station, and neighborhood administration office broke into her home to take her to a brainwashing center. Ms. Fu refused to comply and shouted "Falun Dafa is good!" In the end, she was carried into the car barefooted and taken away.
15. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Lianjun, Mr. Li Shulin and Ms. Wen Lijun Arrested
Mr. Sun Lianjun, from the Gaoqiao Open Economy District of Huludao City, was taken away from his home to Xingcheng by He Zhicheng, head of Gaoqiao Police Station, and other officers. It was reported that he was to be sent to a brainwashing center.
Recently, Mr. Li Shulin and Mr. Wen Lijun from Daxing Township in Huludao City were taken away by officers from the local police station. Their elderly mother, in her eighties, has been left at home alone.

16. [Bei'an City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Feng Guixia, a Teacher at Zhaoguan Town No. 1 Elementary School, Arrested
On October 10, 2004, Ms. Feng Guixia, a teacher at Zhaoguang Town No. 1 Elementary School in Bei'an City, Heilongjiang Province, was taken to the city's Beiliang Detention Center by Sun Li and Liu Xuesong. Sun and Liu are officers from the Bei'an City Police Department. Ms. Feng suffered from heart problems as a result of abuses by detention center officials.

17. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Wu Hai in Xinchengzi District Arrested by the Local Police
Wu Hai works at the Puhe Town Branch of the Agriculture Bank in the Xinchengzi District of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. At the end of October 2004, Wu was arrested by the local police for going to Beijing to validate Falun Dafa. Officers from the Xinchengzi District Branch Police Department extorted over 10,000 yuan from his employer and took him back to Xinchengzi Detention Center for torture. 18. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Taken to a Brainwashing Center After Serving Forced Labor Terms
Officials of Zibo City 610 Office have forcibly taken Falun Gong practitioners who refused to renounce their belief in labor camps to a "reform class" in the so-called "Zibo City Legal Education Center" for brainwashing. Families of Falun Gong students have been extorted 60 yuan each day. Mr. Shi Zhaofeng, Mr. Song Tao, Mr. Zhai Mouchen, Ms. Yan Hongguang, and Mr. Yao Qian have also been arrested and taken there. Cui Mowo, Yan Hongguang and Yao Qian have been held at the brainwashing center for over half a year. Mr. Shi Zhaofeng has been sentenced to forced labor for another two years.
Prior to October 1, members of the 610 Office forcibly took Mr. Si Shubo, Mr. Zhuang Shijun and Mr. Feng Chuanjin to the brainwashing center.
19. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Xifang, Her Husband Zhao Jun and Their Daughter Zhao Jing Arrested and Sentenced
Around 7:00 a.m. on October 11, 2002, Ms. Ma Xifang and her husband Zhao Jun, from Weifang City, were at the home of their daughter (also a Falun Dafa practitioner) in the Zichuan District of Zibo City. Over a dozen police officers from Zichuan District State Security Unit and from the Dongguan Police Station deceived them into opening their door. The officers took the three practitioners to the detention center and confiscated their personal computer, printer, cellular phones, over 6000 yuan in cash, a valuable stamp collection and many other items. The police kept the door key for over twenty days and gave it back only after Ms. Ma's relatives asked for it repeatedly.
At the end of October, the couple's home at Weifang No. 2 Printing Factory was unlawfully searched. Local officials rented a construction crane and broke the window. Eighteen people raided the place for over two hours, taking away a personal computer, a television set and other home appliances, clothes, over 3,000 yuan in cash, and three depository receipts (with over 2,800 yuan in deposit). Ms. Ma's retirement salary has since been withdrawn by an unauthorized person. All their deposits have also been withdrawn by unknown parties.
Mr. Zhao Jun and his daughter Zhao Jing have been unlawfully sentenced to two years of forced labor each. Ms. Ma has been unlawfully sentenced to four years in prison and is being held at Jinan Women's Prison.
20. [Beijing] Mr. Li Chaoxi Detained at Pinggu Branch Police Station
Mr. Li Chaoxi, on the technical staff at Beijing No. 1 Bureau of Public Roads, was arrested on October 1, 2004 by officers in 110 patrolling cars ("110" is the Chinese equivalent of "911" in the U.S.) after they received reports that Mr. Li was distributing Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials near Chengguan Cinema in the Pinggu District of Beijing. He is being held at Pinggu Branch Police Department.
21. [Anyue County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Tian Xu and Yu Tinggui Sentenced to Forced Labor
Mr. Tian Xu from Anyue, Sichuan Province was arrested on November 6 for raising public awareness about Falun Dafa. Mr. Tian has been on hunger strike to protest the unlawful detention. On November 13, Anyue County 610 Office and county state security unit sent him to Xinhua Forced Labor Camp in Xinhua for an unlawful term of three years of forced labor.
Another Falun Dafa practitioner Yu Tinggui remains in the detention center. It has been reported that Yu has been sentenced to two years of forced labor.

22. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wu Yanna Put on Trial in Tianhe District
Ms. Wu Yanna is an English teacher at Meigang Middle School in Jiedong County, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province. She remained in exile after escaping from Jiedong Brainwashing Center with righteous thoughts at the end of 2001. On the evening of April 18, 2004, members of Tianhe District 610 Office in Guangzhou City arrested her. She was first taken to the "legal school" in Tianhe District designated for holding Falun Gong practitioners in custody for brainwashing. She is being held at Tianhe District Detention Center. A court hearing has been scheduled on December 20 at Tianhe District Court.
23. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Several Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Song Shuzhi, from Sanshijiazi Township in Lingyuan City, was arrested by officers from the local police station on October 23, 2004. Cong Peijun was arrested on November 5 by officers from Lingyuan State Security Unit.
Li Dianhua and eleven other practitioners from Nanyingzi village in Dao'erdeng Township, Lingyuan City were arrested by officers from Dao'erdeng Township Police Station on November 8. Li Dianhua is being held at Lingyuan City No. 2 Detention Center.
Ms. Wang Yuqin, Mr. Sun Qingge, Mr. Sun's wife, and Ms. Wang Suqin, all from Chapeng in Songlingzi Town, Lingyuan City were arrested by officers from Songlingzi Police Station. Ms. Wang Yuqin managed to escape with righteous thoughts and has remained in exile. Ms. Wang Suqin's family has been extorted 5,000 yuan in cash.

24. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yanmei and Her Sister Wang Jiemei Arrested
Ms. Wang Yanmei and her sister Ms. Yang Jiemei are from Fushun City. On November 4, they were arrested at Guchengzi where Wang Yanmei had rented a room. Their whereabouts are unknown. Ms. Wang Yanmei, an English teacher at No. 41 Middle School, lives near the Factory of Mine Lights. Ms. Wang Jiemei, an English teacher at Lutiankuang Middle School, lives at Guchengzi.
On September 7, four Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Song Yazhen and Mr. Li Sengu from Xianian Village, Ms. Li Suling from Tang Village, and Ms. Li Surong (Li Suling's sister) from Aji Village went to Xianian Village in Xiahada Township, Fushun City to distribute truth-clarifying materials. Village party secretary Zhao Enjiu informed the police and colluded with officers from the township police station to have the practitioners arrested. Two practitioners have been sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. The other two are being held at Fushun Forced Labor Camp.

25. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Gao Shao'an Arrested at His Maintenance Shop
Mr. Gao Shao'an, 54, is from Chawang Village at Chengnan Town in the Zichuan District of Zibo City, Shandong Province. On October 20, 2004, he was arrested by officers from Chengnan Town Police Station at the maintenance shop he operates. Mr. Gao is being held at Zichuan District Detention Center.

26. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Lei Yunxia of China Nuclear Propelling Research and Design Institute Persecuted for Her Belief
On March 30, 2001, Ms. Lei Yunxia was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying materials. She was unlawfully sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. In prison she suffered the complication of numerous illnesses as a result of beatings and torture. On May 20, 2001, she was released on medical parole when her life was in imminent danger.
On October 18, 2004, Ms. Lei was again taken into custody at a brainwashing center in Xinjin by officers from the Fangcao Street Police Station in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province.
27. [Yuxi City, Yunnan Province] Members of the Jiangchun County 610 Office and the State Security Unit Confiscate Falun Dafa Practitioners' Valuables
Mr. Yang Liude, 51, is a peasant of Zaojie No. 1 Commune at Dajie Town in Jiangchuan County, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. He was arrested by the Jiangchuan County State Security Unit on June 21, 2004 and held in custody for over a month. Yang Youfu and Shen Xiaofan of the state security unit took this opportunity to confiscate the valuable gifts Mr. Yang gave his daughter for her wedding, including a Hualiya brand motorcycle worth over 3,200 yuan and a Wanlida brand DVD player priced at over 400 yuan.
28. [Shandong Province] Three Falun Dafa Practitioners in Shengli Oil Fields Arrested
Mr. Tang Zhancheng, over 60 years old, Mr. Yang Chenghan, about 60 years old, and Ms. Wang Xiulan, over 50 years old, are Falun Dafa practitioners from the Combined Transportation Company of Oil and Gas in Shengli Oil Fields. Members of Shengli Oil Fields 610 Office and officers from Binhai Police Department recently arrested the three practitioners and ransacked their homes at the same time.
