Zhang Furong, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Hunan Province feels very regretful about what she did under pressure during detention in the forced labor camp. After her release from the labor camp, she has been cultivating diligently in order to make compensation for her wrongdoings. Later in August 2002, she was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying materials and has been detained ever since. In November 2003, she was illegally sentenced to seven years in prison. Currently she is being detained at the Changsha Female Prison.

On December 6, 2003, Gao Guibo, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Gaotaizi Village, Dafangsheng Town, Dehui City, went to her mother's home by bike. Around 2:00 p.m. on her way back home, she passed the Dafangsheng Police Substation. After she had passed the police substation by quite a distance, policemen from the police substation caught up with her by car. They forcibly abducted her and took her to the substation, where they did a body search and found nothing. Gao Guibo asked the policemen, "What's this for?" Policeman Chang Xiande shamelessly said, "Aren't you able to put us on the online list of evil people who persecute Falun Gong?" Dong Jiming, Director of the substation, and policeman Xue Huanwen threatened Gao Guibo constantly and defamed Falun Dafa. In the end, Gao Guibo was released after being kept in the substation for a long time.

[Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] The Brainwashing Class in Xinhua District Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioners
The brutes at the Brainwashing Class in the Xinhua District of Shijiazhuang City employ a cruel torture on Falun Dafa practitioners who insist on their belief, called "Sitting on an Iron Chair." In addition, they do not allow practitioners to sleep and furthermore, they beat and abuse practitioners at will. They also punish practitioners by requiring them to squat, stand, "fly" [with practitioners' hands handcuffed from behind to a certain height that they have to bend forward and stay in that position], among other cruel tortures. One practitioner was tortured there over half a year, but she never yielded or gave up her belief. In the end, her body became extremely weak and her life was in great danger. The "610 Office" in the Xinhua District still extorted a sum of money from her family members before releasing her [the "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems]. [Jilin Prison, Jilin Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners are Persecuted
Under the instruction of Political Instructor Liu Changjiang, and Tan Fuhua, Director of the Educational Section, policemen in Jilin Prison employ brutal torture instruments to persecute steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners. Zhang Hongwei from Tonghua City has been tied to the "Dead Man's Bed" [an extremely brutal torture instrument] for 52 days. His wife has asked to see him during the period, but Tan Fuhua and other policemen refused his wife's request in order to avoid responsibility for his condition. Although Zhang Hongwei is subject to any means of torture, he still insists on validating Dafa. He said, "As long as I am still alive, I will validate Dafa." Currently, there are seven practitioners being brutally force-fed in the prison.

Wang Shixiang, in her sixties, lives at Yinglong Residential District of Shijiazhuang City. On December 11, 2003, police from the Tangu Police Substation illegally arrested her. She is currently being detained at the Capital Brainwashing Center of Hebei Province.
The Neighborhood Committee of the Yinglong Residential District constantly harasses Falun Dafa practitioners in the district. Practitioners are threatened to write the so-called "statement of guarantee" to give up Dafa cultivation practice [the guarantee statement is to declare that he or she is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners]. Wang Yushu and Guo Yueqiao are from Xiaoliu Village, Hantai Town, Xinle City. The thirty-year-old Wang Yushu obtained the Fa in April of 1999. On December 3, 2003, he and fellow practitioner Guo Yueqiao, went to distribute truth-clarifying materials in Dongwang Town. They were tracked by vicious people and arrested at Xiwang Village. Guo Yueqiao subdued the evils' control with righteous thoughts. Currently, Wang Yushu is being detained at the Xinle Police Substation. In the evening of that day, police searched Guo Yueqiao's home illegally.

Falun Dafa practitioner Li Yuanhao from the Shuangyang District of Changchun City had to leave his home in May of 2002 in order to avoid illegal detention. Around December 19, 2003, he was arrested in Jilin City and escorted back to Shuangyang. We presume that his arrest occurred when the police were checking on rented apartments. His wife, a Dafa practitioner as well, was able to avoid arrest with righteous thoughts.

Section One of Chongzhou Public Security Bureau and police substations in Chongzhou City, under the instruction of the "610 Office" in Chengdu City, beat and arrested Falun Dafa practitioners without any legal procedures. As far as we know, on December 1, the Liaojia Police Substation deceived practitioner Jia Chongrong by having her pick up her ID card at the substation. On the way, Jia Chongrong was forcibly abducted by officers in a police car. She was then sent to the Xinjing Brainwashing Class.
At 7:00 p.m. on December 1, police broke into Huang Ying's home and forcibly abducted her with a police car. She was immediately sent to the Xinjing Brainwashing Class. The villagers who witnessed the arrest said that the police were more violent than the bandits of the old days.

In late October, she was sent to Moganshan Female Forced Labor Camp, where she was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor.

[Chongqing City] Three Falun Dafa Practitioners from Tongnan County are Sent to Brainwashing Class
It has been reported that recently, many Falun Dafa practitioners have been arrested in Tongnan County. In early December, twenty-eight-year-old teacher Ms. Cheng Qing, from Tai'an Town High School, was illegally arrested by the local "610 Office" and police from the National Security Bureau. On December 11, Fu Xiaohong, living inside the Educational Committee residential complex of Tongnan County, was dragged by the hair with her mouth covered and forced into a black car by five policemen. On December 21, practitioner Wu Yongmei was illegally arrested at home by Zhang Liang, Director of Tongnan Public Security Bureau, and Cai Ping, head of the Tongnan "610 Office" and Party Secretary of the Politics & Law Committee. Currently, Cheng Qing, Fu Xiaohong and Wu Yongmei are being detained at the Tainyuanhua Brainwashing Class in Tongnan County. Recently, the "610 Office" in Tongnan Couty has been scheming to arrest more Falun Dafa practitioners for brainwashing.
According to our investigation, the "610 Office" in Chongqing City issued two documents regarding brainwashing and transforming Falun Dafa practitioners in Tongnan County. Because of this, the "610 Office" and the National Security police keep arresting Falun Dafa practitioners.
