Global Activities Exposing the Persecution of Falun Gong

[Ottawa, Canada] "July 20" Declaration: Four Years of Torture and Genocide against Falun Gong Practitioners Must Be Ended: Four years ago, out of jealousy and private interests, dictator Jiang Zemin started a large-scale genocide campaign against Falun Gong. During the four years of persecution, Jiang's regime has chosen itself an ignominious fate. Four years are one moment or a long time, depending on your point of view. Humanity has witnessed the most magnificent page of history: torture and killing could not overcome the strong will and spirit of the guardians of the truth. With the sound of bell for the final trial, history will show people a truth: Righteous Will Definitely Overwhelm Evil!

Facts of Persecution

Yunnan Province has recently started a new round of persecution. Led by the officers from the "610 Office"[a bureau specifically created by the Chinese government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches], they forced Dafa practitioners who have given up their practice under pressure in some areas of Yunnan, which include countryside to promise not to practice Falun Dafa anymore. The actual persecutions include: 1. The "610 Office" coerced the units or basic level governments to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in their areas. Otherwise, the officers of that unit or that level of government would be punished. 2. Officers from the basic level "610 Offices," police stations, or governments once again register Dafa practitioners, and force them to write "guarantees," no practitioners are spared. 3. Units or relatives of the determined Dafa practitioners are put under pressure in order to torture Dafa practitioners psychologically.

Experience Sharing among Dafa Practitioners

Improving Myself through the Teaching Work of the Minghui School: the biggest lesson I learned through teaching is to get rid of my own attachments. Facing many kids, my prejudiced concepts were exposed. I tended to prefer some kids and treat them differently, and the effects were not good. I then thought about Teacher's words: "That'd be having thoughts of differentiating, and that's not the compassion of a Great Enlightened Being." (Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference) I realized that to be compassionate I should treat everybody in the same way.

Recently, many difficulties appeared between the Minghui School and fellow practitioners. Once, young Dafa practitioners planned an exercise demonstration, but some fellow practitioners were against it. I was angry in my mind. One fellow practitioner talked to me with a smile: I saw your pain in trying to be tolerant. I was silent and warned myself: do not look at others, look at myself. Up until the days of the activity, I almost forgot about the issue of the exercise demonstration. But fellow practitioners arranged for the kids to do the demonstration many times. I gained a better understanding of Teacher's words: "A person who truly cultivates will gain things naturally without pursuing them."

News from China

Court Defense: through the process of how Falun Gong has been defamed and slandered by a dictator, it's easy to see that it's illegal. The dictator implemented the policy of persecution by putting his party above the law. He started the persecution, then passed a law to justify the persecution. That is against the Chinese Constitution. So from the legal point of view, the persecution of Falun Gong is illegal from the beginning. It is a political crackdown and persecution. Falun Gong practitioners have been peaceful, reasonable, and non-violent. The law and facts all show that the dictator and the authority are violating the law.

Falun Gong is innocent. The actions of practitioners have promoted the righteousness, virtue and kindness of society.
