Case 1
Police chief Xi Zhanjun illegally arrested Dafa practitioners on many occasions when they had gone to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. Following the action of dozens of Dafa practitioners' hunger strikes in the detention center, Xi Zhanjun was diagnosed with cancer. He worried that others would comment that it was karmic retribution, so he quietly went to another city to have surgery.
Case 2
Jia Qifang, former chief of the politics and security section for the city police department single-handedly sent dozens of Dafa practitioners to illegal forced labor. He also fined them on many instances and extorted money from Dafa practitioners' families. Total fines and extortion amount to around 1 million Yuan.
In the spring of last year, Jia was laid off and became a temporary worker in the detention center. His fourth brother and niece drowned. It was indeed the case of one person doing bad deeds and the whole family suffering.
Case 3
Early in August 2003, Liu Tonglin, a deputy chief of a city police department who was in charge of persecuting Dafa practitioners held a meeting to plot another round of persecution. Unexpectedly, the next day criminals attacked him. He was sent to the hospital with serious injuries.
Case 4
Wang Wude, secretary of the city police department discipline committee and chief of the Baita District Police Department, went to Beijing to arrest Dafa practitioners who had gone to appeal. He confiscated and kept all the money he found on Dafa practitioners. After verification, Wang Wude was found to be the mastermind behind the physical attack on Liu Tonglin, the above-mentioned deputy police chief. As a result, Wang Wude himself was arrested by the provincial police and became a prisoner.
Editors' Note: Each time we publish news of this nature, we do so with heavy hearts. These people started off as public servants, but under the intense pressure applied by the Jiang regime, they were pushed into persecuting Dafa disciples. In the process of destroying the lives of kind, law-abiding citizens, they have sealed their own fates and inevitably faced karmic retribution as punishment. If it weren't for Jiang's wicked orders, perhaps their fates would have been different.
