Hungarian Dafa Practitioners
(Clearwisdom.net) The first press conference in Hungary on Falun Gong was held on March 18, 2002. Practitioners from Germany, Austria, Sweden and Taiwan gathered together and prepared for a series of activities of clarifying the truth of the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China.
The press conference was held in a hotel, and reporters from a major newspaper conducted interviews. The practitioners introduced the 610 Office's persecution against Falun Gong practitioners, Jiang's recent order of "kill without pardon", the western practitioners' peaceful appeal in Tiananmen Square, the illegal long-term imprisonment of Zhao Ming, and awards to Falun Gong.
Finally the practitioners gave a videotape entitled "Calling on China, Calling on the World" to the reporters.
Later, over 40 practitioners from Hungary, Germany, Austria, Sweden and Taiwan gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary and called on Jiang's regime to stop the persecution against innocent Falun Gong practitioners.
