A Solemn Statement

My husband fortunately obtained Falun Dafa (taught by Teacher Li Hongzhi) in 1994. During the several years of his cultivation, I heard and saw all that happened in the process. I was also deeply moved by the great actions of Dafa practitioners. Under the protection of Teacher, even I, an everyday person who does not cultivate, did not take any medicine during the past several years. This confirms what Teacher says, "Since you practice, your practice will benefit your entire family."

When the evil carried out the unprecedented persecution of Dafa, my husband went to validate Dafa and he was detained twice. During the time he was detained, I began to waver and suspect Dafa. Under pressure from the local community, the local police station, the police sub-bureau, as well as "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems), I unexpectedly wrote all kinds of "guarantees," which were bad for Dafa. Even more so, out of fear I threw away two books written by Teacher for the purpose of saving beings. Now, when I look back and reflect, I think that what I have done might not be forgivable. In these several years under the protection of the kind Teacher, I just wanted to get benefits. However, when Teacher was slandered and when Dafa was persecuted by the evil forces, what I sought was just my own comfort and personal interest. Compared with those Dafa practitioners who have sacrificed their lives in order to validate Dafa, I did not even have the courage to say a few words of truth for Dafa. I am really ashamed. Now, the only thing I want to say is please forgive me Teacher. Forgive me for the mistakes I have committed. If time were to reverse, I would place my position anew.

My school forced us to sign [a statement against Falun Gong]. We have realized that they were coercing and persecuting us. We know that Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa and that Falun Dafa is good. I state that what I wrote is invalid and I have decided to learn Falun Dafa.
