"I won't lose my conscience over thirty thousand Yuan RMB"From a kind-hearted neighbor.
In a Chinese city, some Falun Dafa practitioners bought a copy machine for printing Falun Dafa materials with money they had saved by living frugally. One day, however, one of the practitioners was captured after his cell phone was illegally monitored by public security. He was then subjected to indecent, brutal, and vicious torture. Unable to bear it any longer, he told them the location of the copy machine. As a result, the police confiscated the machine and a computer and arrested another practitioner.
At the time, I was out of town and didn't know about this happening. When I returned, I found that the room that held the copy machine was locked up tightly. I made a few phone calls from a phone booth, but nobody picked up. I suddenly started worrying. I then went to my neighbor's house to find out what happened.
He said, "We all already know that you are Falun Dafa practitioners (he did not know this before the incident). The policemen took away your copy machine and computer. They then offered a reward of thirty thousand Yuan [about 4,000 US dollars] for your capture. You'd better go as far away as you can. I wouldn't lose my conscience for thirty thousand Yuan, because I know that Falun Dafa practitioners are all good people."
After listening to these few words, I felt deeply regretful for the loss to our Dafa work, while at the same time I was grateful to this kind-hearted neighbor. At present, the villain Jiang Zemin, usurping state power and frantically venting his personal resentment, viciously persecutes Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa practitioners with fabricated stories and frame-ups. But the Chinese people have truly intuitive knowledge and are very clear-headed.
I replied to my neighbor, "We are all good people that have been forced to become destitute and homeless due to the persecution by Jiang Zemin and his wicked followers. We bought the copy machine to print materials to reveal the truth of his deeds. I have one copy with me. Please consider it a gift from me. The thousands and thousands of words that I would like to tell you are on there."
After saying goodbye, I felt that as a particle of Falun Dafa, I should take more responsibility. For those kind-hearted people like my neighbor who have not yet attained the Fa, we have to give our all in clarifying the truth and exposing the evildoings of the malicious lackeys, so that more people can attain the Fa.
A Policeman Who Knows the Truth
Once, when two Falun Dafa practitioners in Beijing were distributing Dafa literature, they were unaware they had just put some into a policeman's mailbox. The policeman coincidentally started coming up the stairs, so the practitioners started heading down. After the policeman read the materials, he followed them from behind, and when the practitioners exited the residential area, he caught up with them. Holding the paper in his hand, he asked, "Did you do this?"
The practitioners smiled, but didn't answer him. He said again, "I have read many of these Falun Dafa pamphlets. Today, there were many Falun Dafa practitioners going to Tiananmen Square, and they passed out literature revealing the truth. I cannot do anything during the day, because our leader orders that we go to Tiananmen Square to arrest Falun Dafa practitioners."
Practitioners: "Then, did you arrest them?"
Policeman: "I don't beat, swear, or curse at them."
Practitioners: "You have read the materials, but have you read our Teacher's book Zhuan Falun?"
Policeman: "After the 25th of April, I purposely got the book to read it. The principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are very good. For example, there have been so many people laid off from their jobs. If everyone tries to forbear it and just goes to find another job, society will be very stable."
Practitioners: "You seem to have a predestined relationship. When you have time, just take a look at the book."
Policeman: "The rules from higher authorities are very strict. Whoever they find studying the book, will be dismissed from their jobs. You guys better watch out. Some officials in the government are crazy. They said, 'If anyone passing out Falun Dafa materials is captured, they will be sent to labor camp, even?" The policeman did not continue. (Beating to death counts as suicide.)
Practitioners: "Thank you for worrying about us."
Policeman: "You are good people; you can leave now."
