To be dismissed from an official position because of Falun Gong is nothing disgraceful.
The head of a police substation in Northern China and the head of the subdistrict office visited a practitioner's home in their jurisdiction to "transform" him [Note: to force him to give up his belief in Falun Dafa]. When they asked the practitioner what was his view about the "immolation" that had taken place a while ago, the practitioner replied, "it is merely a play of evil and a lie. It cannot deceive you or our practitioners. Falun Gong has been practiced in this jurisdiction for nine years and, as our officials, you all know the behavior of practitioners." The head of the police substation said, "If you go to Beijing or get involved in some activities, we can not help but treat you according to the direction of our superiors." The practitioner asked, "Are you under a lot of pressure?" The head replied, "If you are determined to go to Beijing, just go. I can only let things go following their own course, in terms of my position and my job. But it is nothing disgraceful if I lose my position and job for the sake of Falun Gong."
Police made up pledges only to deceive the superiors but not the subordinates.
A policeman in Northern China said to a practitioner, "A while ago even we felt that the Fa (the Law) would soon be rectified, but, see, now it is quite noisy on the TV again. When can you be redressed? I feel a little discouraged." The practitioner replied, "Don't worry. The principle of the universe is that evil can never overwhelm the righteous. The more ferocious the evil is, the sooner it will be eradicated. It will definitely make a final strike before its death. But you need to remember that it is very important to follow your conscience and not to do deeds that trouble your conscience." The police replied, " I cannot help but to cooperate with it. The superiors pressured us to hold "transformation classes" for practitioners. What can I do? The only thing is to follow their direction. I therefore made up pledges for every practitioner in my jurisdiction that says something like "follow the direction of the central government and not go to Beijing, etc.". "I have handed them over to my superiors. I don't know when you will go to Beijing again. But it is good if we can even deceive them one more day."
It is Jiang Zeming who will be struck by a thunderbolt. It is he who is forcing us to do it.

Aren't you afraid of being struck by a thunderbolt? The head replied, "If my action deserves a strike of a thunderbolt, it must be for Jiang Zeming. It is he who is forcing us to do it."
Beaten without allowing explanation as he stretched at Tiananmen Square.
A plain-suit policeman from Shijiazhuang came to Beijing for some business. He felt a little tired when he was passing Tiananmen square. He gave a yawn and meanwhile stretched himself. Seeing this, plainclothes policemen at the square thought he was doing Falun Gong's first exercise "Maitreya stretching his back" and hence all rushed to him. They gave him a hail of blows and kicks while he cried, "Stop! Stop! I am a policeman!" When he finally dug out his credential, he already had suffered a bloody nose and a swollen face.
"What a waste if people can not see such a good stuff."
A female practitioner was detained for going to Beijing to validate Falun Dafa. Her husband (a non-practitioner) found some flyers at home that his wife left, that contained true facts of Falun Dafa. He then went out to distribute the flyers. He got caught. He was asked, "Are you a practitioner?" "No, I am not." "But why are you sending out Falun Gong flyers?" "I read through them. They are all telling the truth. They are really good. What a waste if people can not see such good stuff".
Who hung it?
Early in the morning, a female practitioner was about to hang a banner up. Her husband, a taxi driver, said, "Let me do it today." He hung the banner at the rear of his car and went forward and backward through the streets and alleys. The banner reading "Falun Dafa is Good" on his car was very eye-catching. Policemen did not catch him until noon. A policeman stopped him and asked him, "Look. What is that hanging at the rear of your car?" He got out of his car and took a look at the rear. He shouted at the policeman, "Who hung it?" The policeman replied, "How should I know?!"
