Solemn Statement
I was stopped on the way to appeal after April 25. The police sent me to the legal system center and forced me to write a letter promising not to practice. Now I solemnly state that all the words in the "promise letter" resulted from my not having studied Falun Dafa well. Everything I wrote against Falun Dafa is invalid from now on. I'll closely follow our master in the future.

Because I had studied Falun Dafa only for a very short of time, I wrote a letter at the end of July 1999 promising that I would not practice anymore I also handed over the book of Zhuan Falun and the tapes. Whatever I said and did against Falun Dafa since January 22, 1999, was done out of fear and self-preservation. I wrote a letter promising not to practice and, under much pressure and against my will, passed it to my workplace and the police department. I declare that everything I wrote and the signatures are now invalid. I'll unswervingly give up all attachments in this world and devote myself to rectifying Falun Dafa and becoming a qualified Falun Dafa practitioner.

I did not dare to admit that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner because of pressure from the government and my workplace. I did not dare to go out to propagate and rectify Falun Dafa because I had a lot of attachments and karma. I'll get rid of them and unswervingly practice Falun Dafa and follow Master Li.
