Thoughts on recent "clarification" by Chinese Supreme Court

Jiang and other evil-doers in the current regime in China continue to abuse their powers, inflicting death, destruction, and despair upon China through the unconstitutional and illegal crackdown on Falun Gong.

Meanwhile, what does the Chinese Supreme Court do about the flagrant violations of the rule of law occurring under it? It hands those under Jiang's black influence a weapon with which to strike anyone attempting to reveal illegalities done by government official and agents -- the vague phrase of "damaging to the country and people" as extenuating circumstances to violations of the "state secrets" laws.

How does this weapon work? Several Falun Gong practitioners and supporters have been arrested and jailed under the "state secrets" law, after which some official has claimed that the revelation of the supposed "secret" has damaged China. Now, all an official need do is make that claim during the trial of a Falun Gong supporter, and immediately the accused can be sentenced to 5-10 years or to death. Since the government has prevented any possible defense by the accused, there is in effect no recourse, no mechanism by which this can be countered.

People of China, disarm this weapon! Retrieve the terms stolen by these evil-doers! Not only does Jiang and his group claim already that their interests are the only interests of the state and government, but now they are given the means to claim that any damage to their interest, any revelation of their wrongdoings, or any attempts to correct or mitigate their illegal deeds, is "damage to the country and its people".

Who is truly damaging the country and people of China?

* The citizens who prevent beating and robbery through revelation? Or the public officials who wantonly beat and rob without pretext?

* The citizens who work to prevent such injury and death by uncovering these acts and blocking further illegal activity? Or the policemen who torture, maim, rape, and murder, citing unconstitutional "orders"?

* Those who follow the law and Constitution to insist that law be applied to all? Or those entrusted with enforcing laws who refuse to allow law to be applied?

* The ordinary people who insist that laws be just, constitutional, consistently applied, and supportive of society? Or those entrusted with making the laws who craft blatantly illegal and unconstitutional and vague laws to the destruction of any but themselves?

* Those citizens who disclose the breakdown of law by such derelict officials, and refuse to accede? Or those empowered to judge cases at law who twist and ignore the law for their own benefit?

* Those who show what wealth, trust, and people have vanished, and even where they have vanished from or to? Or those who use their official positions to cause the disappearance of wealth, trust, and "inconvenient" people?

The current evildoers are readying to claim the phrase "damaging to the country and people" to damage the country and the people! Is it compassionate to the country and the people, much less the world, to allow them to corrupt and fatally distort this phrase too?

If stolen words are not retrieved, they will continue to be lost, perverted into weapons in the hands of those who will corrupt anything to gain at others' expense. Retrieve these terms, so they can be used truthfully instead of as weapons and codewords of evil!
