[Minghui] There is a Falun Dafa practitioner named Li Yuanyuan in Hebei Province. She is a farmer and illiterate, but she can read the entire book of Zhuan Falun.
She wanted to go to Beijing to report the true situation to the government and clarify the truth to the people of the world. When she told her mother-in-law about this idea, her mother-in-law agreed to go with her. However, both of them had never left their hometown before and they didn't even know where Beijing was located. "No matter what, we have to go!" Then a miracle happened. A large Falun appeared in front of them, showed them the way, and led them finally to Beijing. They met other practitioners who also came to Beijing to appeal to the government, and they went to appeal together. Since the police had taken over the Appeal Bureau office, all these practitioners were arrested before they could report the true situation. Li's mother-in-law told the police her name and address and was sent back to their hometown. Li Yuanyuan also told her name, but the policemen mistakenly wrote down "anonymous person." She understood right away, "Maybe I shouldn't go back." Then she together with the Falun Dafa practitioners that refused to tell police their names and addresses, were transferred to the No. 13 Branch of Beijing Public Security Bureau, where they were often beaten. There weren't any of Master Li's articles in prison, so she just kept reciting three words: "Zhuan Falun." (In Chinese this is written in three characters, meaning 'Turning Law Wheel.') Later, a practitioner brought a copy of Zhuan Falun into prison. Then everyone was able to share this book. One prisoner wanted to attain Dafa so all the practitioners let the prisoner have more time to read Zhuan Falun.
Li was beaten many times because of practicing Falun Gong in prison. Once when she was practicing the exercises, a policeman came in and kicked her in the face. One of her eyeballs was kicked out of the socket; she immediately held it and pressed it into her eye. It happened that she was to be interrogated at that moment. In the interrogation room, she had to keep looking upwards so that her eyeball would not fall out again. Blood flowed down her face, and the interrogator was frightened and asked her, "What is wrong? You had better go to see a doctor as soon as possible!" She said, "It doesn't matter. I will be fine if you will allow me to meditate for three days." They agreed. On the third day, her eye indeed miraculously recovered.
Another thing happened last September in the No. 13 Branch: one day they locked a few Falun Dafa practitioners who refused to tell their names into a cold storage room and attempted to freeze them to death. Right at that moment, thunder and lightning surrounded the No. 13 Branch. The electrical circuit was destroyed after the lightning and the entire No. 13 Branch fell into darkness. The policemen felt terrified. They shouted, "Falun Gong practitioners are deities. Go embrace them and beg them to protect us!" Then all the policemen and criminals ran to Falun Dafa practitioners to embrace them. Some held Falun Dafa practitioners' arms, some held practitioners' legs and begged for their protection. Some policemen beat the criminals and required them to practice Falun Gong as well. Somebody suddenly remembered about the Falun Dafa practitioners that were being detained in the cold storage. Not until the policemen released those practitioners did the thunder and lightening cease to be so forceful.
Li was finally sent back to a local detention center and she remembered she had visited this place in her dreams. She talked with local Falun Dafa practitioners and continued to validate Dafa. Master Li also gave her hints many times in her meditation or dreams. Once she saw Master Li pilot a plane and as many colorful ribbons dropped from the plane, Falun Dafa practitioners climbed up along these colorful ribbons but many of them fell down halfway. With great difficultly she climbed up to the plane, but Master Li told her, "You need to go down." She was unwilling to go back down to the ground, but Master Li told her three times to go back. She had to return. Another time she came to heaven, however, Master Li told her to go back down again. She was reluctant to do so, but she came down. Later she understood that her assistance was needed to help more Falun Dafa practitioners improve and sublimate together. When she was released from the detention center, there was a voice in her ear, "Bring Zhuan Falun with you, bring Zhuan Falun with you..."
When she returned to her hometown, she went around to share experiences with other Falun Dafa practitioners. Her stories touched many people. More practitioners from her region went to Beijing to appeal to the government and validate Dafa, and more people had a chance to understand the truth of Falun Dafa.
