[Minghui Net] Since the Chinese government started its persecution of Falun Gong, overseas demand for Falun Dafa books has been increasing drastically. Publishers from many different countries have actively requested to distribute Dafa books in their own native languages. In addition, various libraries, universities, and research institutions have also been seeking Dafa books through all kinds of channels. After more than a year, publication of Dafa books has been expanded and the quantity increased, and publication channels have been improved. Yet the growing demands from various parts of the world for Dafa books are not completely met.
The very popular English versions of the books Falun Gong and Zhuan Falun have had three editions published in merely a year, reflecting the participation of more and more English speaking practitioners and their ever maturing understanding of Dafa. Distribution channels for English versions of Dafa books in major English speaking countries, such as the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, India, and so on, are being constantly created and improved. Just as with the English versions of the books, publication and distribution of Dafa books in various countries in French, German, Swedish, Russian, and Japanese are being constantly broadened and improved to meet the demand of the market. Spanish versions of Falun Gong and Zhuan Falun will be officially published soon, and Exercise Instruction videotapes in Spanish are being made and will reach the market in the near future. Publication of these books and materials will meet the need of Spanish-speaking people in the United States, Spain, and most countries in Central and South America. Dafa books in Indonesian, Dutch, Italian, Finnish, Hebrew, and Romanian were published very recently. Some of these books have already sold well, and others are in the process of being printed. The translation of Dafa books into Vietnamese and Tibetan is also rapidly in process.
The number of options of Dafa books and materials available in Chinese has also increased. Since the 1999 publication of the four new books on Fa lectures, audio and video materials in various local dialects, such as the Jinan Fa Lectures with simultaneous translation in Taiwanese and the Hakka dialect, are being published. Other recently published materials also include: videotapes, VCDs and audio CDs of the Fa Lectures in Dalian, audio CDs of the Jinan Fa Lectures, audio tapes and CDs of the "Pudu" (Universal Salvation) and "Jishi" (Save the World) music (cover and packaging featuring a blue background and universe theme), and posters of the "Explanation of the Falun Buddha Fa Exercises Through Figures" (including packaging tube).
Further materials that will be published soon include: exercise instruction videotapes and VCDs with simultaneous English translation, Guangzhou Fa Lectures with simultaneous English translation in CD, VCD, and DVD, and Zhuan Falun in simplified Chinese characters.
