I witnessed a touching scene today. It was visiting day for Falun Gong practitioners who are being held in transformation classes in Jianghan District. The parents of one Falun Gong practitioner stood inside the courtyard in front of the room where the transformation class was being held, and cried out, "Our son practiced Falun Gong exercises to improve his health. What's wrong with that? What crime has he committed? Why do you harm innocent people?!" These parents that were in agony wanted to have it out with the police. The police shouted back to the parents, "What are you doing here? Making noise! Why didn't you properly teach your son?" The mother responded while crying, "My child is a graduate student [only very few good students are qualified to be admitted to a graduate school in China]. He is a good child at home and a good citizen in society. Because he had problems with his eyes, he began to practice Falun Gong, and as a result his eye disease disappeared. Why did you arrest him? It is not even right to send him to this clas. Why are you going to send him to a labor camp? What kind of society is this? " The father was too angry to speak. He held his stomach with his hands. He could not stand still and appeared to be in a lot of pain and felt nauseous. Seeing the sorrowful expression on the father's face, the mother felt very sad and cried bitterly: "My child!"

Upon seeing this, the Dafa practitioners, who were detained inside the room stuck their heads out the window, and shouted: "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa! Falun Dafa is innocent! Teacher Li is innocent!" "Parents are good! Parents are great!" Their voices shook all of the visiting relatives, police and people working there. The father then replied loudly "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa practitioners are all innocent!" The voice of the parents and the practitioners joined together. I was moved by the scene and felt that my heart was joined with theirs. The righteous voices woke me up. I felt very proud of the parents, who were so brave to stand up for their sons and to tell the truth.

My child has also been persecuted, like other practitioners, simply for practicing Falun Dafa. Who doesn't have parents, spouses, siblings and children? I'm asking for all of the family members of the detained practitioners to stand up for them and to say something fair to the practitioners, just like those brave parents did! They are all good people. What's wrong with their practice of "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance"? Falun Gong has benefited the society as well as the entire country. Falun Gong is a piece of pure land in a society that lacks justice and is full of evil. Yet, so many Dafa practitioners have been persecuted through out the entire country. They have been detained, sent to labor camps and jailed. Millions of family members of the persecuted practitioners are suffering too! Parents that are practitioners were even taken away from their children and some have even lost their lives while in police custody!

We are asking the family members of Falun Dafa practitioners not to be cheated by the vicious rumors and lies. Please stand by the practitioners' side and ask the government to stop the persecution and release all detained Falun Dafa practitioners. For the sake of the practitioners and your children, please speak up for them.
