As the cultivation practice and Fa (law and principle of the universe) rectification progress, the overall arrangement of Dafa (great law) and the environment for genuine cultivation have set higher standards for Dafa practitioners. As for those disciples who have made it through the vicious tests and met the standard, there are not only higher requirements with regard to the rational rise to a genuine understanding of Dafa in higher realms, but also higher and clearer requirements with regard to the elimination of all attachments and "assisting the Teacher in this human world" by clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to the general public. These requirements are: "Validate the Fa with reason, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and offer people salvation with benevolence."
In this respect, all genuine practitioners with no exception shoulder the sacred and irrefutable responsibility. It is the historical mission endowed by this Dafa of the cosmos. Over a period of time, numerous practitioners in China and abroad have been making unremitting efforts in accomplishing this ordained task. These sustained efforts are playing a major role, a role of rectifying people's hearts. The impact at the present stage is mostly on people's hearts, and is still a little difficult to be observed on the surface, yet could be felt through in-depth communication. As a matter of fact, one thought from a person will determine his future. The most important thing is to clarify the truth to the public, and offer the opportunity for them to choose a new life. There are a lot more that we could do, and many people still don't know about the truth. Dafa disciples are enlightened beings in the future ascending toward Buddhas, Taos, and Gods. To offer salvation to people is the necessary compassionate benevolence an enlightened being should have acquired. Particularly, under the cosmic climate of Fa rectification, to clarify the truth to the general public is the irrefutable mission of Dafa practitioners, which involves deeper contents indispensable for the cultivation practice. In doing so, we cannot be restrained by the human mentality that is still left on us. No matter what the original individual understanding is, when we have realized the macroscopic requirements from Dafa, we have to do it according to the requirement of Dafa. At the same time, only "doing it without pursuit" can we make accomplishments. Within it, there is broad content of cultivation practice. When you have dispelled the barrier of human mentality, struck vigorously forward, thrown yourself into the process of cultivation and Fa rectification arranged by Dafa, you will then see the laws and principles therein and the magnificence of this event, and you will then have the wonderful enlightenment of dissolving into Dafa. There are numerous reports from minghui.org that we can draw upon. I would like to talk about some issues that have manifested during our exchange of thoughts. It is only for your reference.
1. Make Use of All Human Resources
Some practitioners still have a vague understanding of this mission. In particular, they are doubtful about the methods that are adopted. They think we should not participate in everyday persons affairs in the human world, etc., etc. In our cultivation practice in the past, we have strict requirements in "not participating in politics, not interfering with state affairs, not involving in irrelevant social activities." So we have come this far along the correct path. Now the standard is set higher, "being afraid of participating in politics, afraid of interfering with state affairs" and so on and so forth are also attachments. In my opinion, our Teacher has made this issue very clear in his new article "Toward Consummation". In the present stage, as long as it helps to clarify the truth to people about Falun Gong, we should go for it by breaking all the restraints of human mentalities. How could a cultivator be restrained by the mentality of an everyday person? Make use of all the human resources, material resources, and financial resources in this world, and as long as we use only the kind nature from within us, then those individuals or groups who contribute to this, no matter actively or passively, would build up the most precious ordained relationship of kindness in the future of their lives. As a matter of fact, when humankind has reached this stage, only one thing is significant: To create opportunity for people to acquire this Fa. All the so-called spiritual civilization and material civilization at present will be replaced by everything new and righteous. Thus whether any of the old lives and things could be made use for or could contribute to Fa rectification is the only meaningful thing.
2. All Attachments Are to be Abolished
Some practitioners who have taken action don't see the importance and urgency of this mission, and cannot actively open up channels with wisdom and clarify the truth relentlessly to the broad public. Those who are on a stop-and-go mode, think what is preventing you from "striking vigorously forward"--- the attachment of fear, laziness, taking a short-cut, or selfishness? No matter what it is, our Main Spirit clearly understands that to cultivate in Falun Dafa your entire life until reaching Consummation is the most and only significant thing. All attachments are to be abolished. Get energized, strike vigorously forward, we can no longer slack off when facing such a great opportunity of "assisting the Teacher in the human world", which all deities in the universe are envious of.
3. Cultivation is a Process of Improvement that Allows no Halt or Relaxation
Some disciples who stood up to protect the Fa and thus were detained many times have fallen into a state of not willing to do much after they had been released. This is not very normal, and it is necessary for them to catch up by studying the Fa. "Everything you are currently doing has already established the greatest and eternal mighty virtue for Dafa and Dafa practitioners." I wholeheartedly admire you. Your steadfast and brave actions are great and glorious, and what you have paid for has resulted in rich fruits. Yet cultivation practice is a process of improvement that allows no halt or relaxation. At the present stage, we have to catch up with the cultivation and Fa rectification process arranged by Teacher. Under the harsh environment in the past, you had summoned tremendous courage and strength to protect the Fa, eliminated karma in the body, and established the mighty virtue through the experience of hardship and misery for both you own future and for Dafa as well. Now, we need this same courage and strength in our mission of "assisting the Teacher in the human world", plus "rationality, wisdom, and compassionate benevolence". A cultivator should not have any fixed mentality. It could be helpful when you were bravely facing the evil. Yet, "a complete sacrifice is the higher standard of non-omission." No matter what doubts we may have, it cannot be wrong if we "follow Teacher closely and cultivate Dafa steadfastly." This statement has incomparably profound meanings. Although in different periods of time, and to various degrees, we couldn't achieve doing so completely, you will realize that even if the tribulation is as immense as the sky, "There will be bright flowers and another village ahead after passing the shady willow trees!" whenever you have achieved in doing this.
To me, the optimal condition in cultivation practice is to achieve this completely and without any doubt.
4. Progress Upright and Undaunted Towards Consummation
A very few practitioners who have not "stepped forth" misunderstood the new articles from Teacher. They felt that "failure to step forth" was the right thing to do. I feel this is utterly wrong. If you do not realize this, the last opportunity will be gone. In the days when "the wind and clouds suddenly change, and the heavens seem to crumble," failure to have stepped forth to protect the Fa has already caused the loss of the best opportunity in reaching Consummation. Upon reading the new articles, trying to find excuses for one's own "failure to have stepped forth" is merely undermining the Fa with attachments that are not given up. The compassionate benevolence of Teacher is immense. In this solemn moment of "progressing towards Consummation", Teacher has once again provided the opportunity to reach Consummation in the process of clarifying the truth to the broad masses of the people. Do treasure this rare opportunity! The evil has reached insanity. Don't be scared by the terror. Make a vigorous effort, and sum up all the courage and energy that you have accumulated through countless lives from the original source of your life when you had withstood the hardships in preparation for your acquiring Dafa. Progress upright and undaunted towards Consummation. Don't leave yourselves in deep sorrow, and don't disappoint Teacher.
At present, a handful of evil suppressors in the Chinese government are hastening their deployment of a new round of evil suppression against Dafa and Dafa practitioners. There might even occur tragic and inhuman incidents of "threatening with depriving of your life". "Things turn into their opposites when they reach the extreme." Evil is most evil when it is dying out. All Dafa practitioners need to keep a sober mind, take "the Fa as teacher", and complete our final process of cultivation with even more bravery and selflessness in our mind and in our action.
The above problems occurred to myself at various degrees. "When facing a problem, look inside yourself. This is the fundamental difference between a Dafa practitioner and an everyday person." Appreciate your clear judgment.
