Village officers' evil ruffian tactics make one's hair stand on end
A female Falun Gong practitioner, 36 years old from Xinan County of Linyi City, was arrested by village police officers and local government officials, and brought to the village office for interrogation and torture because of her cultivation of Falun Dafa. One of the young men forced her to take off her clothes, saying to search the contact phone book. Otherwise they would beat her. In order to prove that she didn't bring anything with her, she took off all of her clothes against her own will. Unexpectedly these ruffians pretended to search her body, but their real goal was to use ruffian's means to torture her. When the practitioner took off all her clothes, the chief ruffian who forced her to take off her clothes poked her vagina using a full-charged electric baton. She was shocked until she could not stand. The ruffian continued to shock her making her writhe with pain and cry painfully. The ruffian was flustered and exasperated, and told her "If you dare cry again I'll stab it in again." After she fell unconscious, these ruffians went out for a rest, with one of them left in the room. He used his genitals to touch the lower part of her body, but she woke up in time so the ruffian was not able to finish his crime.
The next morning, she escaped to the county government and complained with tears. The leaders of the county didn't even ask the reason for her appeal, instead they called the village to take her back, and they kept torturing her.
Under the light of day, such crime happened in the county and local government, and such evil ruffians make one's hair stand on end, who on earth is right and who is evil? Who is breaking the law? Did this female practitioner deserve such treatment just because she practices Falun Dafa exercises in front of her own home?
Practitioners in Linyi City suffered persecution
A certain factory has quite a few practitioners. The special office [set up to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in the government] gathered them into a remote militia training camp far away from the city. Under the burning sun they were forced to stand on a cement slab barefoot, and with a brick on each ones head, being tortured inhumanly. As long as they dont write the guarantee or the statement of repentance according to the office's requirement, theyll be treated like this everyday. But most of the practitioners are firm in cultivation; consequently those officials became flustered and exasperated. They beat practitioners badly with a leather belt dipped in water, making practitioners black and blue all over their body. It is so tragic that others' hearts ache.
Another special office locked several practitioners up in an oil storehouse of a food factory. Practitioners were threatened with salary withholding and being fired, but that could not touch the practitioners. Later on they hired several ruffians, saying that if they "transform" one of the practitioners either in one day or ten days, theyll get same amount of money of 500 Yuan (about $60, about one month's wage). In order to get the money as soon as possible, they savagely beat practitioners using the leather belt from a tractor engine dipped in water. There was an old person who is over 70 years old among the practitioners. He was beaten so hard that his skin was torn and the flesh gaped open. It is so tragic that one cannot bear even to look at him. They even viciously forced practitioners to slander and curse Dafa.
In a county, a practitioner's home was searched and his property was confiscated. He was also arrested by the village and taken to attend the class. He was beaten with an electric baton and a rubber stick. When the ruffians got tired, they hung him up. During the nights, they took off all of his clothes and handcuffed him in the woods near a sewer drain, letting him be bitten by the mosquitoes. He was bitten so severely that the scars from these wounds strung together like beads all over his body.
A practitioner of Hedong District was beaten while hanging. Ruffians went to drink after they got tired. They didnt wake up until the next morning, and only then thought about the practitioner hanging there. At that time the practitioner had already lost consciousness with his arms dislocated.
A college student of Pingyi County was detained. They asked the family of the student to pay for their party and drinks after they beat him everyday. And this happens three times a day. They even called his father to the detention center, and tortured this practitioner in front of his father, until his father gave them 10,000 Yuan (about $1,250, 20 months average wage) fine, and 20,000 Yuan for the feast.
A female practitioner was fired after she was caught coming back from applying to higher authorities to appeal for help. She was also beaten cruelly by the police, causing her whole body to become black and blue.
In all kinds of evil tests, some practitioners didnt pass the tests very well. They deeply regret this in their hearts. Here and now, all the practitioners in Linyi City seriously state that: All the previously written guaranties, statements of repentance and all those written by others were against their own will, they are all invalid! Dafa practitioners firmly cultivate Dafa without changing in their hearts!
Please pay attention to the persecution to Dafa Disciples by the evil force in Hedong District of Linyi City
Around the Spring Festival [Chinese New Year] of this year, twenty practitioners in Hedong District of Linyi went to Beijing to appeal for help. After they were escorted back to Linyi City's prison, they were illegally detained for 4 ~ 5 months. During that period, the practitioners were tortured so inhumanly that they were ruined physically. Most people were shocked with electric batons; some were shocked for 4 hours. Some were beaten with sticks, which were broken to several pieces. Everybody suffered these tortures despite their ages. Miss Song Fangxia and Pan Yuxiu were both over 60, and they were beaten until they were unable to stand, or sit well. Their backsides became the color of purple eggplant. Dozens of practitioners were locked in one room; they were not able to stand up due to the beating. Practitioner Zhe Yanju was beaten to death, and gradually woke up after not breathing for half an hour. Because a relative of Su Qingying said "Why did you violate their human rights", the ruffians grabbed his hair, cruelly beat him until he was half dead, and half alive. They beat him until he begged for pardon. Zheng Hongqin was illegally reeducated through labor. Yang Zhimei was locked into a small room in the District's police station during the period that she was detained. She was handcuffed to the headboard of a bed; she could neither sit nor stand. Several people watched her alternately. She was forbidden to eat, to drink, even to sleep for 6 whole nights and 6 whole days. Zheng Jianjia was locked into the same position as Yang Zhimei for 4 days and 4 nights. The ruffians also forced him to open his eyes and flipped his eyes balls with their fingers. Zheng Hongqin was also chained this way for 3 days and 3 nights. Zhao Bo was a police officer of the investigation bureau. He was illegally detained and handcuffed to the windowsill for over 3 months. Some Dafa practitioners were fired; the salaries of some practitioners were stopped; and some practitioners were punished by being forced to clean bathrooms and garbage. Some were illegally detained in their workplaces, restricting their freedom for over 100 days. They were even supervised while going to the bathroom. They were forced to write a guaranty that they wont practice Falun Gong, and wont go to appeal to higher authorities. Otherwise theyll be more brutally persecuted. Some peoples homes were searched and/or confiscated.
During the 4 ~ 5 months of illegal detention, most of the practitioners were given cruel punishment. Some people in Hedong District used whatever the means they could to seriously violate the human rights of the practitioners, causing serious damage to practitioners' physical and mental health.
Public opinion will decide who is right and who is evil
Since May 10, 2000, there has been a set of "transformation classes" in Linyi City. Some practitioners were dragged out of their workplaces, and some were called from home without reason. It has been 4 months now, and practitioners are suffering all kinds of persecution---economic punishment, being expelled from the party, suspension from their job and salary, and so on. In the recent 4 months, not only didnt some practitioners have money for living expenses, they were also forced to submit tens of thousands of Yuan. For example Sun Yunjuan and Li Xiumei from the transformation class at the public health bureau were dragged from their workplace and home respectively and locked up in Yizhou Hotel. They were confined 24 hours a day, and had to pay 250 Yuan a day to cover the expenses of the "educators". After that, they were sent to the detention center, then sent to the "transformation class" of the government training school. They are currently being held at the hotel. The detained practitioners did not have food to eat for several days because of restricted freedom and being short of money. They are accused of confronting higher authorities and forced to write a self-criticism. There are still 4 people being detained.
Xu Fen was first sent to study in the hotel managed by the public goods and materials bureau since May 10, 2000, then was sent to the "transformation class" of the government training school. It has been almost 4 months, completely being sealed for over 50 days. Now shes still detained, and has to pay all the expenses.
Li Ailing of the Water Conservancy Installation Inc. has never gone to appeal, but she was still called from home to the company's office, also detained in the "transformation class" of the government training school for as long as 3 months. Practitioner Song of the same company was sent to a mental hospital to get treatment as a mental patient because he refused to write the "statement of repentance".
Yang Lifen was sent to the detention center because she refused to write the "statement of repentance". She didnt have a single meal because she didnt have money for food. She was sent to the hospital because of the serious dropsy on both her legs. In this way she escaped being sent to the "transformation class" again.
Dong Jin of Hongri Chemical Industry Group has been detained for 4 months since this May because he refused to write the "exposition material". During this period, he has been brutally persecuted with batons and military training. He is currently detained at the government training school, and is being tortured physically everyday.
Wang Luyu of Transportation Company had been detained for 3 months, and released after a hunger strike.
Compassionate people, in front of the many things happening to the people around you, kindhearted people are tortured until their family breaks up, their lives lose assurance, and personal freedom is seriously infringed. Arent your consciences touched? Lao Zi said: "The people are not afraid of death, why threaten them with death?" In todays legal society, everything is done according to the law; human rights and human freedom are so common. The 38th of the Constitution says: "Personal freedom of the citizen should not be violated, human dignity of the citizen should not be violated." Please take a look at these facts, and this behavior that ignores the dignity of the law and treads on human rights. We need to think deeply about these issues: Wheres the justice? Wheres the righteous thought? The Dafa practitioners are all kind and honest; they just want a good body, a will to go back to their original true selves, whats wrong with that? Whats wrong with Master Li? Whats wrong with Dafa? The course of nature is there. Good and evil have their own rewards. Heaven has witnessed the right and the evil.

College Teacher Illegally Detained, Persecuted Physically and Mentally
Im a college teacher. I was forced to attend the "Falun Gong transformation class" because I went to Beijing to appeal on July 20, 1999. I was released on August 20. I was caught when I went to Beijing again to tell the truth of Falun Gong. I was locked up in a detention center after having been taken back by the police. I had been put in handcuffs and shackles for a month. Afterward, I was detained by my workplace for 3 months, with great damage to both my body and spirit. I need to pay 5,000 Yuan (about $600) for bail, while my pension for living expenses from my school is only 180 Yuan per month.
Detaining people at will and running wild
A lot of practitioners in Linyi went to appeal in Beijing to tell the truth to the government leaders. They just tried to defend their own rights and interests without exceeding the range of the Constitution. However, as long as they went to appeal, they would be caught and put in jail without ever being asked for the reason for their appeal. Some prisons are full, so criminals in prison for setting fire, robbery etc. are released to make room for Falun Dafa practitioners.
It was about the time of the Spring Festival. They have no way to handle lots of firmly cultivating practitioners, so they ordered their workplaces and their families to pay 6,000 Yuan or so to get them back. Some were detained by their workplaces. Just after the Spring Festival, they made an order to arrest the so-called Falun Gong backbone members in an emergency meeting and arrested 14 practitioners. Some practitioners were released just before the festival. They were arrested again after the festival. These practitioners didnt go to Beijing, neither did they do anything illegal. Why detain them without reason? Its known that following this, there was a Peoples Congress meeting in Beijing in March. They detained practitioners first until the meeting was over in case they go to Beijing. This time they not only detained people but also gave economic punishments. Everybody had to pay more than 3,000 Yuan. Some practitioners without money had to sell their belongings, such as T.V. and furniture, etc. to cover the cost. They want to leave practitioners with no money to go to Beijing. Here, the law became trifling matter and power has become the law.
