European and American Practitioners Propose to Proclaim May 13th as "World Falun Dafa Day"

Respected overseas fellow practitioners,

In the month of May eight years ago, our Teacher started imparting Falun Dafa to the general public, and henceforth started a new chapter in the history of the purification of mankind's heart and soul, cleaning-up of the universe, and reconstruction of the entire cosmos.

Eight years passed by swiftly. Yet, within this brief period of eight years, the Buddha nature of countless living beings has been awakened. The lives of hundreds of millions of people have been touched.

Within this brief period of eight years, Falun Dafa has spread all across China, and been carried forward around the globe. Falun Dafa has brought to people of different origins the blissful message that has long been sought after from the deepest part of their hearts.

Within this brief period of eight years, justice has again demonstrated its mighty power, and truth has again been illuminated in human society.

To commemorate this significant day, express our joyfulness and gratitude for the benefits we have obtained from Falun Dafa, help more people around the world know about Falun Dafa, assist people with predestined relationships to acquire Falun Dafa, appeal to kind-hearted people to support Falun Dafa practitioners in Mainland China to regain their rights of belief in the truth and freedom in cultivation prescribed by law, and encourage further advancement of overseas fellow practitioners, we propose that May 13th of every year be named "World Falun Dafa Day" such that it can be celebrated by Falun Dafa practitioners and kind-hearted people worldwide.

Due to the stringent environment in Mainland China, and the tremendous contribution by millions of Falun Dafa practitioners in Mainland China, and by reviewing and following Master's teaching that "the Great Way has no form", and "What is important is the cultivation of one's heart", we further propose that practitioners in Mainland China not participate in the celebration that might take some formalities this year. All activities of the first "World Falun Dafa Day" will be sponsored and participated by Buddha's School Societies, Assistance Centers, and practitioners in various regions overseas. The success of this worldwide event will offer a good opportunity for overseas practitioners and kind-hearted people everywhere to express their highest respect for and humanitarian support to all practitioners in China.

Respected overseas fellow practitioners, millions upon millions of Falun Dafa practitioners in Mainland China value the law and principle of "Zhen-Shan-Ren" (Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance) above their own lives. Their spiritual realm is admirable, and their sacrifice is heart shaking. Our Teacher has taught Falun Dafa to practitioners, and made it public to all mankind and the entire universe. To help all lives that could be saved in this new chapter upon the arrival of a new age, and to help all of mankind open its eyes to this great project of mind and soul purification, to celebrate this special day that belongs to all living beings, who else other than us practitioners with "Zhen-Shan-Ren" in our hearts would be more responsible to spread the word around?

It is our belief that the global celebration of "World Falun Dafa Day" will bring a new magnificence to our path of "returning to our true nature" and in our course of assisting our Teacher to disseminate Falun Dafa to the world.
