[ France] A congressman from France recently, in his written request, called on Chinese Premier ,. Zhu Rongji, to urge the Chinese government to stop the persecution of Zhao Ming.
Mr. Jean-Paul DURIEUX, a congressman from France, sent a letter to Zhu Rongji, strongly requesting that the Chinese government fulfil its international obligation, carry out an independent investigation on the torments that Zhao Ming (a Falun Gong practitioner from Ireland) and many other practitioners are experiencing simply because they practice Falun Gong and hold firm to their peaceful belief, and punish all responsible parties.
Mr. Jean-Paul DURIEUX also urged Zhu Rongji to promise that the government will persecute no more people in China because they practice their peaceful belief.
