On November 16, Amnesty International's Dublin Central Office invited Falun Gong practitioners to be special guests on its annual "Christmas Card" show on Ireland's National Television.
The host, after briefly introducing the practitioners, asked questions such as: What is Falun Gong, why is the government in China suppressing it, and other questions the audience was interested in. The practitioners answered the questions one by one.
The host also asked about Zhao Ming, a citizen of Ireland and a Falun Dafa practitioner, who was persecuted and sentenced to re-education in a labor camp. The practitioners gave a brief account of the details of Zhao Ming's case. A representative from Amnesty International explained that Zhao Ming would be the first person among the six to whom Amnesty International was going to send "Christmas Cards." At the end of the show, the host said: "The Chinese government's crackdown on Falun Gong, from the standpoint of us bystanders, is totally incomprehensible."
Before the Amnesty program ended, the host invited the practitioners to demonstrate the fifth exercise, Enhancing Divine Powers.
