On October 25, Dafa practitioners in Leshan safely returned home after posting and distributing more than 2,500 copies of flyers titled "Jiang Zemin Cannot Shirk the Responsibility of Persecuting Falun Dafa" and other Dafa truth-telling materials.
Luo Gan once commended Leshan for its success in suppressing Dafa, so this undertaking of Dafa practitioners effectively reduced the influence of Lou Gan and Jiang Zemin.
Even though the environment in Leshan is extremely harsh, the majority of Dafa practitioners in this area have said: "No matter how difficult it is, we all will continue practicing cultivation in Dafa, and closely follow the Teacher. No matter how horrendous it is in China, we will break through it. We will use our lives and everything we have to welcome the moment that the Fa rectification manifests in the human world and the moment that the truth reveals its mighty glory."
[Chongzhou, Sichuan Province] Pedicab drivers paid to monitor practitioners
In Chongzhou City of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, ever since the flyers titled "Jiang Zemin Cannot Shirk the Responsibility of Persecuting Falun Dafa" appeared, the police called together all the pedicab men in the city and gave each of them a bonus of several hundred RMB monthly to help monitor and report activities of Falun Gong practitioners. This conduct has undoubtedly pushed these innocent citizens to the evil side.

Shanghai practitioners Liu Denghai and Gao Mingfeng have been missing since the afternoon of Sep. 30. In addition, several other practitioners in the area are missing as well. We hope this has caught the attention of their children overseas so that they can please send help.
[Gaoan, Jiangxi Province] Dafa practitioners arrested for no reason, leaving their children homeless
Dafa practitioner Xiong Weisheng and his wife Lou Jinbao were detained as soon as they arrived home from their vacation around the National Day last year. The police told them: "The Central Government ordered us to arrest you. You Dafa practitioners are prohibited from going out of town." Now, both of them have been sentenced to two years in labor camp. They have also forced Lou Jinbao's mother, who is more than 70 years old, to stay away from Lou Jinbao's home. They did not allow her to take care of her child. Xiong's work unit has stopped paying his salary and his young child is wandering about destitute on the streets.
Dafa practitioners Liu Qingyuan and his wife Lu Hui have gone through similar but even worse mistreatment.
Other Dafa practitioners in Gaoan, Jiangxi Province are experiencing terrible tortures by the police for no reason. So far, more than 50 innocent practitioners have been detained. Some practitioners have been detained for more than a year now and have not yet been released. Some practitioners have been detained for more than half a year and have had to pay at least RMB 3,000 fine after their release. In the detention center, the police did not allow the practitioners to eat. Some even did not provide them with daily necessities, nor did they allow practitioners' families to bring them clothes. The practitioners are forced to work for more than 10 hours a day. They cannot go to sleep until all the work is completed. They are leading an inhuman life.
[Changchun, Jilin Province] Nearly 100 Falun Dafa practitioners are on hunger strike at the Fenjin Labor Camp
Nearly 100 Falun Dafa practitioners took off their prison clothes (because they are not criminals) and started a hunger strike in Fenjin Labor Camp to protest inhuman torture and to appeal for respect of human rights and handling Falun Gong issues fairly and legally with real evidence.

[Hebei Province] More sentences in Hebei Province
Liu Zesheng, a former Falun Dafa contact person in Tangshan, Hebei Province, received a sentence of four years in prison. He is now detained in the Tangshan Jail.
Dafa practitioners in Shijiazhuang, Ms. Ma Maolin, and Ms. Ma Shulan, were handed labor terms and are detained in Shijiazhuang Labor Camp.
Dafa Practitioners in Baoding, Mr. Tian Jianxin, Mr. Zhang Zhishui, were sentenced to three years of labor camp. They are now detained in Baoding Labor Camp.

One practitioner in Shijiazhuang City distributed Dafa materials to a policeman when no anyone else was around. The practitioner said: "Would you like to read these materials explaining the truth of Falun Gong?" This policeman accepted them without hesitation. After seeing that they revealed the evil deeds of Jiang Zemin and his accomplices, he carefully hid them in his police hat and went away.
[Beijing] Police tracking down Dafa practitioners who know how to use computers
Since this October, the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners has been escalating in Beijing. Recently, Beijing police have intensified the search for and monitoring of Dafa practitioners. The police are asking some work units to fill out forms with questions like: Are there Falun Gong practitioners in your workplace? Do they know how to operate a computer? Is there anything related to Dafa in their computers?
A policeman in the Xicheng District of Beijing wanted to take away an elderly female practitioner. After she refused to be taken away, he claimed: "You only have two options: one is detention center or mental hospital, the other is that you must write a guarantee letter now."
[Liaoning province] Over 1,000 practitioners jailed in Masanjia Labor Camp
Dafa practitioner Zhao Guoqin, female, about 30-40 years old, was sent to Masanjia Labor Camp in Liaoning Province. It's known that there are at least 1,000 practitioners being jailed there. Their families are not allowed to visit them until they are "transformed."
[China] Advice from a kind-hearted person
One day, two old buddies met after having not seeing each other for quite a while. When they met, one (we'll call "A") said to the other ("B"): It is said that the government's crackdown on Falun Gong has been escalating recently.
B: Really?
A: Your child practices Falun Gong. So be careful, don't be caught by the police.
B: I have tried persuading him many times, but he said there is nothing wrong with doing good deeds and conducting himself nobly.
A: I know all Falun Gong practitioners are very good. But there is a new order from the government. The Female Labor Camp in Changchun city brutally tortures practitioners. They used whatever cruel means they can think of, and even forced Falun Gong practitioners to step on thumbtacks with the sharp points facing upwards.
B: Is that true?
A: I'm really worried about your child, how painful it is to step on the thumbtacks! I can only tell you this because we are friends for many years: in the male labor camp, they even forced-feed practitioners with chili water.
Such a dialogue makes all kind-hearted people sad.
[Jinzhou, Liaoning Province] Good is rewarded with good and evil with evil; a policeman recognizes his retribution
A policeman in Taihe District of Jinzhou City was responsible for sending back the practitioners from Beijing. Whenever the practitioners go to Beijing, he goes there to arrest them. Recently, two lumps of ulcers developed on his hip; they became abscessed and are extremely painful. They haven't been able to cure them. He responded when asked: "This is the penalty for arresting Falun Gong practitioners." It is said that that he has been transferred from his position and that he indicated that he would not do such things again
[Sanhe, Hebei Province] The vicious conduct of police in persecuting Dafa practitioners
Sanhe of Hebei Province is located east of Beijing, connecting National Road 102 with the capital. Since July 21, 1999, the police here have detained or stopped countless Dafa practitioners who were heading towards Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. They have examined passengers' IDs, performed body searches, and interrogated them regardless of whether they were Dafa practitioners going to appeal or common citizens going to tour and shop in Beijing. They even asked people to curse Dafa and say filthy words. Every passenger was required to do so. The Yanjiao police checkpoint even forced all passengers off their vehicles and searched them during the National Day (around Oct. 1). Their actions generated a lot of complaints from the public, "They don't detain those who should be detained. They don't take care of those who should be taken care of. They are making a fuss about a casual remark dropped by their superiors. They really have too much free time." Below are some cases of how the Sanhe policemen persecuted Dafa practitioners.
- On October 7, Yang Xizhong from Yanjiao Development Zone Police Station brutally tortured Dafa practitioner Yan Juying of Daoqiao Company (This was reported by Minghui net already)
- Liu Yalu and Qi Xiaoquan from Yanjiao Development Zone Police Station brutally abused Dafa practitioner Hao Yafen, an employee of the Sanhe Power Plant, who went to appeal in Beijing.
They kicked and pounded Hao Yafen. She got dizzy and giddy, and she couldn't see anything with her eyes. They used an electric baton to shock her after she fainted, causing her urinary control system to become dysfunctional. Then Qi Xiaoquan hit her with a shoe, and kicked her knees to force her to kneel down. Hao's body remained swollen for many days and had many dark purple bruises. She needed to use the bathroom very frequently.
A leader at Hao's work place, Fu Qinghe, and Mr. Hao, head of the Yanjiao Development Bureau, also helped out in abusing her on the spot. Fu Qinghe even said he would choke her to death. Later, on July 3, Yang Jingyu and Fu Qinghe fired Hao Yafen and showed her the paperwork on July 13. Fu Qinghe, Duan Jun, etc. ask Hao Yafen to pay a bill of RMB 2,000. They said it was the warranty money. After Hao was fired from work, the two of them asked her to pay another bill of RMB 5,000. When Hao Yafen asked them what that was for, they said it was the fine from the police. In order to have Hao Yafen back home at an early date, Hao's family bribed Zan Qing, head of Yanjiao Police Station, RMB 2,000. Liu Yalu also extorted 1,000 Yuan from them. He said it was used to pay Beijing officials. On top of that, Hao's work unit deducted her wages and bonuses, which added up to over RMB10,000.

- Officer Yang Fuwen tortured Dafa practitioner Zhang Yugen, a Yanjiao Town resident.
Because Zhang Yugen went to Tiananmen Square to appeal, he was slapped in the face by the local policeman Yang Fuwen. When Yang asked Zhang whether he would continue to cultivate, Zhang answered yes. Yang then continued to beat him. Later, Yang Fuwen felt it was not enough to vent his hatred; so he forced Zhang to kneel on a rock for more than three hours. At the same time, he kept shocking Zhang's legs, feet and other parts of the body with an electric baton. Zhang's arms turned blue and purple. His inner thighs got blisters from the electric tortures. He was also forced fed with three big bottles of water. Later they extorted RMB 2,000 from Zhang Yugen as a warranty fee and RMB 10,000 from his work place.
- On February 25, Dafa practitioners Tian Rongyou, Fu Xiuqin, and Wei Yaxin went to Beijing to file appeals. After they were taken back from Beijing, the police captain Cao Jiaoli tortured them by slapping their faces, and handcuffing them in the yard to suffer in the cold.
- Police in Huangzhuang Town police station of Sanhe often beat practitioners violently. They are two directors of the police station, Huang Yi and Niu Baojun, and a police whose nickname is Bald Meng. They even clamored, "We will beat you until you give in." - The Gaolou Town police station of Sanhe detained practitioners whenever a sensitive time approaches. They violated personal freedom under the name of holding "education classes". This July, several practitioners who were taken back after filing appeals were tortured with electric batons, slapped with shoe soles, and handcuffed under the burning sun. - The Liqi Town police station of Sanhe has been detaining Dafa practitioners since this July 21. They beat and scolded the practitioners in an extremely inhumane way. Their phone number is 011-86-316-3450110.
- In the Beicheng police station of Sanhe, directors Zhao Yongkang, Li Zhijun and Yan Jianguo, etc. led a group of people to break into practitioners' homes. They lied to the practitioners that they wanted to conduct an investigation and took them away. They then secretly sent them to the Tangshan Labor Camp without any legal procedures. Practitioner Zhao Shuying was taken away from home and sent to the labor camp in this way on July 19. When she was taken away, she was only wearing short pants, a vest, and slippers. Practitioner Liu Xingyun was also sent to the labor camp in the same way on October 8.
There are many Dafa practitioners who have been tortured in Sanhe and Yanjiao. They have been bound by ropes, splashed with cold water, slapped in the face with shoe soles, etc. On October 7, there were also practitioners seriously hurt from the harsh beating.

Dachang County of Hebei Province is a neighboring county of Sanhe. Since this April 25, many practitioners from Dachang County have been arrested at home and are still in detention. A Dafa couple was suspected of distributing Dafa materials and was taken away from their home. They have been detained in Dachang County Detention Center and have not yet been released.

Tang and his station often abuse and insult female practitioners, including senior citizens. They detain practitioners who have distributed Dafa materials for an endless term until they write the pledge and pay a fine of RMB 2,000 without getting any receipt.

The Changchun detention center separated the detained practitioners into a normal class and a strict-enforcement class. Officers there are extremely harsh to the practitioners in the strict-enforcement class. Those practitioners are not allowed to talk to anyone. Some practitioners' lips turned dark purple and became seriously swollen from electric shocks.
