Several months ago, Falun Gong practitioners imprisoned at the Deyang Prison in Sichuan Province were allowed to call home, and family members were allowed to visit. However, since February 12, 2007, Lin Xiaoquan's family members were forbidden to see him.
Mr. Lin Xiaoquan is forty-two years old. He lives at Qingshi Village in Xinnong Township, Xindu District, Chengdu City. Mr. Lin started practicing Falun Gong in December 1999. Many of his neighbors said Falun Gong practice had turned him into an exceptionally good person.
Lin Xiaoquan went to Beijing in January 2000 to appeal for Falun Gong and was jailed for 15 days in the Xindu District Detention Center. Chengdu police arrested him in September of 2000 when he was distributing truth-clarification materials. He was jailed in the Longquanyi Detention Center and Pi County Detention Center. The persecutors later on sentenced him to one and a half years in the Xinhua Forced Labor Camp at Xinhua City. Mr. Lin Xiaoquan suffered inhuman persecution during this period.
When arrested, Mr. Lin wore only two shirts and one pair of pants. He had no bedding. In the freezing winter he had to curl up into a ball to keep warm. The police deprived him of sleep for 70 days. Sometimes the police ordered inmates to pull on his genitals to torture him. Despite the torture, Mr. Lin refused to give up his faith.
On July 28, 2005, Xindu district police agents again arrested Mr. Lin Xiaoquan. He was first jailed in the Xindu District Detention Center for seven months. On February 23, 2006, Xindu District Court officials sentenced him to three years in prison.
When Mr. Lin's family members went to the police station to seek Mr. Lin's release, the police lied, saying they had not arrested him, and that it was the Chengdu City police who arrested him. The also said, "If you insist on his release, we will arrest you too!"
Mr. Lin's family members had not seen him for more than two months
and they
are very worried about his safety. It is known that if a practitioner
is
forbidden to see family members, most likely he is confined in a
solitary
compartment and suffering cruel abuse or has been tortured so severely
that the
police do not want others to see his condition.
Ms. Song Wenjuan, who is from Second Village, Niujia Town, Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province, was sentenced to forced labor in July 2005 and detained in the 12th Team at the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City. There she was subject to all kinds of persecution. Recently, guard Huo Shuping (female), shocked her with an electric baton. As a result, Ms. Song's face was swelled and distorted, and she became critically ill.
When Huo Shuping was violent towards Ms. Song Wenjuan, Ms. Song told her sternly that good and evil receive their own consequences. Nevertheless, Huo Shuping rampantly struck Ms. Song's face.
When Ms. Song's family members visited her on February 10, 2007, she was very emaciated, and all of her fingers were wrapped with adhesive plaster. On February 15 or 16, someone from Shandong Province called and said that Ms. Song's organs had been sold. On March 10, after receiving a call, Ms. Song's family members went to the labor camp, but they were not allowed to see her under the pretext that Ms. Dong did not behave well. All the guards had been replaced as well.
In the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp, Ms. Song was handcuffed backwards to the bunk twice, with her feet suspended above the ground. The guards secured her onto the iron chair with handcuffs and shackles for more than two months. In the winter, the guards took off Ms. Song's clothes and secured her onto the iron chair with her feet bare and the window open. They also shocked her with an electric baton in her mouth until she bled. The guards from the "intensive training team" shocked her with an electric baton, hung her up, beat and kicked her, hit her with a baton, and humiliated her.
Liu Peijun (male), village head of the Second Village, and Liang
Cunxu
(male), the former director of the Niujia Town Police Station, knew
that Falun
Gong practitioners are kind people who follow the principles of
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, but for their own small gains,
they
forcibly took Ms. Song into custody. Consequently, she was detained in
the
Wanjia Forced Labor Camp and tortured until critically ill.
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Gao Yang and her father, calligrapher Gao Zongzhen, were repeatedly persecuted in China by members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for persisting in practicing Falun Gong. Later they went to Australia to continue their practice in a free country. However, members of their family who live in Beijing, China have been harassed by the CCP. The following is a statement by Ms. Gao Yang.
Police officers and staff of the 610 Office started harassing my family after they learned that my father and I had gone to Australia. They fear that we will expose the evil CCP's crimes. Every day, they go to my home in China and threaten my mother, saying that if we don't return, my sister's school education will be affected, and my mother will also be implicated. They also told my mother to tell us that if we return, they will not hold us responsible for anything. I know in my heart that this is one of their tactics. If we were to go back to China, my father and I would be tortured physically and mentally, and we would lose our freedom.
The police and 610 Office staff already know that my father and I
are
promoting Falun Gong in Australia. They also know that my father has
published
articles on the Clearwisdom website and the Epoch Times website
exposing
the CCP's crimes. Therefore, they have harassed our family even more
severely.
My mother lives in terror and worry every day. Today, while I was
talking to my
mother on the phone, the police and 610 Office staff suddenly broke
into her
home. I had to hang up the phone. I don't know what has happened to my
mother. I
am very concerned that the police would use brutal means when dealing
with my
mother and sister. However, I dare not call home now. I am in an
extreme dilemma
and am quite anxious because these police can do whatever they want
without
consequences.
It is now well-known that the wicked CCP has harvested organs from
living Falun
Gong practitioners. The CCP's nature is very sinister and brutal. I
hope that
the Australian government puts pressure on the CCP, and asks them to
stop
persecuting Falun Gong practitioners and their family members.
At around 6:30 p.m. on April 27, 2007, three policemen from the Jiangbin Police Station in Xiangtan City went to the house of Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Cao Lijiao, who worked in the Jiangbin Machinery Factory in Xiangtan City. Without any reason, they cuffed Ms. Cao and illegally detained her. Moreover, they did not tell her family where she was detained and did not allow them to visit her. Ms. Cao Lijiao's whereabouts are still unknown.
On April 26, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Shen Guilian (over 50 years old) and Ms. Li Tiejun (over 60 years old), who both worked the Jiangbin Machinery Factory in Xiangtan City, went to Zhuzhou City to clarify the truth about Falun Gong and persuade people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. According to a report done by the Jiangbin Police Station of Xiangtan City, they have been arrested by police from a station in Zhuzhou City. It is unclear where they are detained.
At around 5:30 p.m. on April 25, 2007, veteran Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Li and Ms. Zhou Kaiyi were arrested by police officers from the Hekouzi Police Station while they were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in Hekou Town, Xiangtan County. Later, after the police found Ms. Li's home phone number, her family was informed that she had been arrested. It is not clear where the two practitioners are detained.
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Cao Lijiao, 36, lives at #401, Unit 1, the 28th Building, in the dormitory compound of Jiangbin Machinery Factory. She worked as a technician in the large workshop. Amidst the persecution she was dismissed from her position and became a custodian. In August 2005, she was harassed many times by police officer Dai Xinqun (male) from the Jiangbin Police Station. She was forcefully sent to a brainwashing class and unjustly detained for 15 days. On the night of January 22, 2006, Ms. Cao was arrested by police officers Wang Dan and Liu Ziping from the Hetang Police Station in Xiangtan City. After being detained for one month, they were transferred to the Baimalong Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City on February 20, 2006. They were sentenced to one year of imprisonment.
