Apparently Jiang Zemin, the president of China, in a country of 1.3 billion people, is still trying to deceive the world by twisting the facts. In an exclusive interview with CBS reporter Mike Wallace, Jiang Zemin uttered new falsehoods in regards to Falun Gong. It is incomprehensible that the material created by the Chinese government's propaganda machine over the past year is no longer effective. This is because Jiang Zemin has now escalated the rumors created by the propaganda machine. The strangest falsehood among them is probably that "Falun Gong has driven thousands of practitioners to commit suicide." The Chinese propaganda machine has spent so much manpower, as well as material and financial resources, to spread the rumor that "practicing Falun Gong has caused the deaths of 1,400 people" throughout the world. In the beginning, this made many people who didn't know the truth about Falun Gong very wary of the practice. However, Falun Gong practitioners, through great compassion and forbearance, have persisted in safeguarding Dafa and telling the truth to the world. They have enabled more kindhearted people to understand Falun Gong, and to also realize the daily deterioration of the Chinese government's propaganda. Now Jiang Zemin has no choice but to turn "1,400 deaths" into "thousands of suicides." "1,400" has turned into "thousands," and the previously claimed "deaths" have turned into "suicides" this is no small exaggeration! Jiang Zemin may hope that now people will consider Falun Gong is a "cult". However, this falsehood is too grandiose and too farfetched, and the result has been just the opposite. Not only do people not believe his distortions of the facts, but they also hold the president of such a big country in contempt.
Why would Jiang Zemin disregard his own dignity, his country's reputation, and the consequences of spreading such ludicrous statements? The strangeness of his position reveals his inner fear and vacuity. At the time, he boldly stated, "I dont believe that I cannot crush Falun Gong." He single-handedly directed and controlled the suppression of Falun Gong. He treated millions of kindhearted people as enemies, when in actuality; he was positioning himself in opposition to the common people. Jiang Zemin's craftiness, cruelty, and endless hunger for power have made him forget the rights of his people. Good will be rewarded, and evil repaid. Actually, Jiang Zemin has probably already realized this, which is why he may have some trepidation about Falun Gong. Whenever he sees Falun Gong or Falun Gong practitioners, he quickly darts away. His public actions expose his feeble inner nature. He knows that he must depend on twisted facts to survive, and yet when he is revealed, awaiting him is the universes retribution.
Jiang Zemin is risking it all on his last chance. His cruel and wicked methods of persecution are already known to the world. Only by disregarding everything and using any and all means against Falun Gong can he "prove" that suppression is reasonable. However, no matter how bloody or twisted the lie, it is still a lie. When enough people see through Jiang's hypocrisy and cruelty, perhaps the truth will be unveiled.
